Nintendo Direct coming November 12 [Over]

"Ace: The Great Attorney". Huh, sounds pretty good...

IT would be "The Great Ace Attorney", presumably the fanboxart is just trying to keep to the spirit of guesswork being required to work out the order words go in.

Is supposed to be read "Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth".

I miss Neiteio :c

Also agreed with the people who say Wii U is Nintendo's best console. There may not be many games, but what games are there are among the best Nintendo's ever made. 3D World, Pikmin 3, Mario Kart and Smash, not to mention two of the best games of the decade with Bayonetta 2 and The Wonderful 101, and the best 2D platformer of all time in Tropical Freeze. Those games were all well worth the price of admission, and even if Zelda U gets permanently moved to the NX exclusively (it won't) I think the Wii U will be remembered fondly for its incredibly strong exclusive library. It really is the Dreamcast 2.

So are there going to be two separate Nintendo Direct shows, NA and EU?

I apologize for my lack of knowledge, since this is my first ND.

Typically the streams for EU and NA are slightly different from each other, but more or less the same. For example when Majoras Mask 3D was announced EU had a collectors edition showed off that NA didn't have/nor get to see in the direct.

Japan typically has most of games released there first, so their Winter to Spring lineup will be much different so they will have more content to show off.

There is a lot of games that are going to be shown off in this Direct specifically so expect it to be at least an hour long. There are a ton of games released in Japan that we're still waiting on. So expect games like Braverly Second and so on.

Don't forget Mario Maker and Yoshi's Wooly World. Mario Maker has taken more of my gaming time this month than anything.

Is it possible to watch the direct on the Wii U?

I don't have much experience using the browser.

Yeah. Watching it with the Wii U works quite well, actually.

My fiancee wants me to wait to watch the Direct with her, so hopefully Nintendo will have it added to YouTube or archived on their site by the time she gets home tonight.

My wishlist:

-Dragon Quest X us release
- Dragon Quest VII 3ds us release
-Dragon Quest Theatrhythm release
-Pokey from Earthbound for Smash.

If only we could upvote comments here....

I'll just repost them. It's hype time anyway.

Predictions:

Fade from black to white. Nothing is visible. Is the stream frozen? Should I reload? But, wait, there is something. Something is moving towards the screen from the deep white plane. It's moving carefully. Methodically. It is practiced and refined.

As the figure comes closer, it also becomes familiar. It is the ghost of my grandmother, bitter with age even in the afterlife.

"My child, you have forgotten your purpose. You are far from the path of your destiny."

"No grandmother," I say, "I will not become what you want me to be. I am free from the chains of your old tradition."

"You cannot escape it," she says, as her old face grows hard and cold. Her skin tightens, her teeth extend, and her eyes become black holes that whistle when the wind blows through. Her twisted skeleton reaches a hand through the screen and grabs me. She crawls through the monitor, slinking and crunching her monstrous form into the physical world. But I am stronger than her. Her bones become dust and are swept away, out of sight, as if they were never there. She is gone again, for now.

Then it ends with more information on the Shovel Knight amiibo and TPHD.

So, basically, the same as always plus a couple known-surprises. Not expecting much more than that.

BELIEVE

In all seriousness, you guys are all hyping this too much.

This has to be a big promo for their holiday titles.

I don't think there will be many reveals besides trailers for titles coming out soon or DLC promoting their current titles.

That's just my 2 cents.

Is the Hyrule Warriors 3DS port confirmed for North America? Maybe they'll reveal girl Link and we can spend a week arguing about it.

I could see them slipping in a few surprise eShop releases, like NES Remix last year, and maybe a mention of a few 2016 titles like Style Savvy 3, which would be great to get a NA confirmation on.

I miss Neiteio.

If I could "bail" any banned poster, it'd be Neiteio. His posts were crafted like they were made with aged bronze, and he brought a special spark to the conversation, even if it could be somewhat creepy. That's part of the Neiteio experience, yanno?

... I need to get my Bingo Sheet ready.

They did say up to and including spring...
