Nintendo Direct coming November 12 [Over]

First direct I've ever missed. Waiting outside exam room for final uni exam of the year, sigh. Can't concentrate with all this Direct hype!

It's okay man, concentrate on your exam and you can walk out knowing a series of megatons will be laid out for you on the frontpage of the forum.

  • Minecraft in December (May at the latest)
  • Paper Jam in Jan (for NA), with Yokai Watch in EU
  • Fates and TP HD in February
  • Star Fox, Federation Force, M&S Rio Olympics, and MH Stories (in Japan) in March
  • SMT x FE (localization), and HW Legends (localization) in April
  • Pokken in May
  • Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice in June
  • Wolf in Smash Bros. and a stage [Corneria ported to Wii U, OR new stage from Star Fox Zero, OR Sector Z] (available now) plus the announcement of the ballot winner, coming at some point next year

Those are my (conservative) release predictions.

If I wanted to go make a wishlist (though some of these are likely to be saved for a Jan or spring direct)
- Ace Attorney 6 in April (in Japan) with a localization for early autumn
- Bravely Second and Great Ace Attorney (localization) in May
- Yokai Watch 2, Dragon Quest VIII, and Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final (localization) for summer
- Monster Hunter X (localization) for late next year
- Style Savvy (NA release) for April or May

My last minute predictions. I have a good feeling about all of this guys:

F-Zero Wii U
Kid Icarus Uprising 2
Metroid Prime 4
Metroid V
Baten Kaitos 3
Super Smash Bros Melee HD
Kirby Air Ride 2
Theatrhythm Legend of Zelda
Advance Wars 3DS
Eternal Darkness 2
The Wonderful 102

Can't wait for the Buttrage when Metroid X MGS is not announced.

Expect nothing to enjoy every direct.

Its so simple and yet..here we are again

Is the North American Nintendo Direct link dead for anyone else? Was it completely overloaded?

I'm sitting on Twitch right now waiting to get this party started

So im just going to say it before the direct.

Nintendo is in a massive transition away from current hw so i except luke warm bombs at best today.

Nicely-tempered, reasonable expectations. I don't know if this thread is the right place for you, buddy.

I'm expecting Twilight Princess HD. Apart from that, I have no expectations so I hope to be pleasantly surprised! I've only ever watched a bit of one of these before. What am I in for?

Ok, new ASA levels are hard. One down, four to go (stuck on the second one, even though I know precisely what to do, alas..)

On an unrelated note, if retro release another game with batshit-good in-game animations and static-as-concrete dioramas and character figurines I'm gonna raid their HQ.

Guess if we have to make a wishlist:
- Yokai Watch 2 in May 2016
- Yokai Busters in November 2016
- Yokai Watch 3 in Q2 2017
- Zelda Wii U by end of 2016.

my humble predictions. Nothing too over-the-top

- It opens with an Iwata tribute, Kimishima comes on-screen, thanks the fans, and promises this will be a Direct they won't forget
- A new mode is coming to Super Mario Maker called Mario Kart Maker. Players can create their own race tracks in Super Mario Kart, Double Dash!!, or Mario Kart 8 art styles
- New Golden Sun, Advance Wars, and WarioWare are announced for 3DS. A new 2D Metroid is also in development, Federation Force is being downsized to an eShop game
- New traditional Paper Mario announced for Wii U that's like the first two games
- Twilight Princess HD properly announced for spring 2016, Zelda U gets an official title, trailer, and is slotted for holiday 2016
- Nintendo and Game Freak go all-out for Pokémon's twentieth anniversary. Pokkén Tournament is reconfirmed for spring, and Pokémon Z is announced for fall 2016. Because FireRed and LeafGreen are part of Gen III but they don't want to do a simple remake of a remake, they announce Pokémon Red and Blue HD for Wii U, out holiday 2016, a built from the ground-up open world 3D remake of the original games
- Nintendo announces a new partnership with Square Enix. Dragon Quest VII, VIII, and XI for 3DS are being localized. The World Ends With You Too for 3DS is announced, along with The World Ends With U, an HD remake of the first game for Wii U with cel-shaded, highly stylized graphics
- Nintendo admits that they said there'd be no NX news, but they reveal that was just a ruse! They show off a prototype version of the NX, promising a full look at the final system at E3, which will retail in early 2017; however, current Wii U owners will have the opportunity to enter a special Ambassador program.. Over the course of the next six months, the President of each region Nintendo operates in (Kimishima for Japan, Reggie for America, Shibata for Europe) will personally come to the house of every Wii U owner, punch them in the face, and then offer them a prototype NX kit for a to-be-announced price. The Ambassadors will have a chance to provide feedback to Nintendo, and test out some of the launch titles
- Nintendo announces the following launch titles for the NX: Super Mario Universe, the proper successor to the SMG games, Zelda NX, an open-world 3D Zelda that's completely separate from Zelda U with all new assets that's being developed alongside it (how do they manage this??? who knows), Metroid NX, F-Zero NX (this will be also be the final name), and Xenoblade Chronicles Y
- As part of their partnership, Square Enix is also currently developing Super Mario RPG 2 for NX. Nomura is doing the character design, Toriyama is directing.
lol
- Nintendo does good on their promise to expand their franchises to other media. They announce that a CG Super Mario Bros. feature film is in the works at Sony Pictures Animation. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are writing, Genndy Tartakovsky is directing
- After seeing the fan reaction to the rumor, Nintendo also announces that they are in talks with Netflix to do a Zelda series. It is described as a serialized Link/Zelda buddy-cop adventure where they take on enemies throughout Hyrule while building up to a bigger threat
ONE MORE THING
- Reggie announces that Swapnote is coming back online ;_;

So I'm going to get a haircut, can someone PM a direct link to the U.S. Youtube link so I can watch it when I get home without having to navigate through spoilers?

See you on the next side, brothers.

Any Youtube links? Those video players on Nintendo's site itself always seems to bug out for me, sooner or later.

Want to be prepared!
