So I've now spent the majority of the game wearing individual armor pieces, but I'm still wearing my goddamn underwear. Preston keeps reminding me I'm not wearing any pants.

Is there a way to have clothes underneath this raider armor?

Long johns, your Vault 111 suit, road leathers are a few of the ones you should have access to early on that you can equip underneath armor layers.

I picked the lock, but I think there is also a key in one on the other houses and a password on a nightstand.

Also, isn't it open during the day?
Nah it isn't open. I'll try checking the other houses. I've done a bunch of other quests and I keep coming back here trying to finish this one, just want to be done with it.

You do realize there's only like one dog that isn't a mutant right? Haha

Deathclaw comes through shreds every breathing thing but me, downs dog. After battle dog gets up like nothing ever happened. Meanwhile I'm a little more than slightly mangled, can't see straight and can barely move... Dog's not a mutant!?...

ok this pissed me off, I'm doing some work on one of my other settlements and I get a message that says "failed to protect (other settlement)". At no point was I warned that it was being attacked, and I can't just sit there checking my pipboy constantly. That needs to be addressed better. A lot of issues I have with the game are UI based. Don't get me wrong, I hate games that hold your hand constantly but FO4 kinda takes it to the other extreme sometimes

Before I invest in Lone Wanderer too much (Instead of working towards Strong Back)

Is Dogmeat not effecting Long Wanderer a bug? In game during a loading screen it said something about lone wanderer being good for going without a "companion or dog".

That's what it looked like, but is it confirmed you can lose it or are you just fucking with me.

CUZ I might as well delete my game how much this will bother me of I lose it.

I don't think it will disappear but it will be awfully hard to find since it's not marked. The idea is to follow it as it flies.

I saved a bunch of pipe weapons because someone told me they would give copper if I scrapped them and I just did and they only give steel. :'(

Anyone know any actual good sources of copper?

player.setav carryweight 1000

I don't even feel guilty one bit. Encumbrance in this game is a stupid mechanic, always will be. It doesn't make the game more difficult, challenging or interesting in any way. Equipment burdens I can get behind, but inventory in a game that has a whole minecraft side game? Fuck that.

I made about 10 back and forth fast travel trips between 2 of my settlements just to transfer all my junk to start building the 2nd one up. Definitely going to use the console command next time I have to do it.

Even tho it's a hassle, I'm totally fine playing within the constraints of a weight limit during regular play, but the way the game wants you to fortify the defenses at the billion settlements you control makes it such a pain in the dick to not have shared resources between them.

I had made a save right after I saw it with my character looking square in the direction I thought I saw it go so that I knew where I was and what direction I was facing when it happened, and I think it was still like two hours for me to find it. Shit is not easy to locate.

With the Local Leader perk you can run caravans between your settlements, which is pretty much shared resources.

You can have them share the resources inside the workshop by using the local leader perk and assigning a settler to a specific camp.

Do you have the scrapper perk? They give you copper if you have that I believe.

so you can't permanently change your carry weight with the console commands? i changed mines to 450 and when i came back to the game it was back to 295. :(

Uh oh, did the clearing out starlight diner quest but I had Preston as my companion, so when I talked to him to complete the quest I got no dialogue, the quest completed, but the ghoul quest didn't pop up.

My arm has disappeared when I'm talking to people. It look kind of badass with that arm's armor that I have. Still funny, because obviously my pip boy still works and is, presumably, on that arm.

My god. Uh, so
the Castle quest... HOLY CRAP. BRING YOUR POWER SUIT!! or an insane weapon
. Thank god I brought the former.

Have to admit, definitely the most epic thing in the whole game so far.

Is there a special place you have to put mama Murphy chair?
I don't think so. I plopped it in the living room of that house with the workshop, armor and weapon benches. I assume it'd work almost anywhere in the settlement zone.

fuck I didn't know I needed Local Leader to share resources, and I only have 1 point in charisma. it's so fucking annoying that you need to carry the resources from one settlement to the other if you don't have that perk.

Anyone do Cait's unique mission
in that vault all the way at the bottom of the map? How the FUCK do I kill those assaultbots?

I want to see her story through but I keep getting absolutely destroyed by those assault bots. It's weird because the gunners they're with are easy as hell.

What are you guys using as your main settlement? Sanctuary seems a bit too big and open for my tastes. Looking for something that's already contained.

I went there without her and cleared the place. Shoot their limbs first it's their weakness. When they charge the red beam take cover.

If I want to put a suppressor on my pistol but my INT isn't high enough for the gun nut perk, is there anywhere to buy mods or specifically modded weapons? Or am I gonna have to use a perk point to boost my INT and then get gun nut?
