Will mods be available on ps4, or only x1?

Deal breaker for me.

I know performance is atrocious on both so it shouldn't matter.

Both consoles will get mods. X1 gets them first. However, don't expect all PC mods to be available. No doubt they'll have to curate those that will be allowed on console somehow.

So is a Pillar of a community a scam? God I am feeling like an idiot. He seemed like a nice guy so I gave him all my stuff. Plus, it isn't a quest...

Been waiting 20 minutes to get to Level 2...

Sigh, never mind. 2nd time this game I have been tricked. Boy, I am sure gullible.

Ran into the glitch with Confidence Man.
I can't free Vadim for some reason,
and my character has been rendered invincible for the rest of the game.

About the mods discussion. Am I misremembering or did Bethesda say there was supposed to be some mod community and a way to easily install mods? Is there some website or application I can go to to easily install mods?

Or was it Blizzard? Ah, I don't remember.

Is it possible to tag stuff you already have some of?
Don't think so, but it's possible to tag things you don't have though.

Hey guys! I finally finished a rough run of my project with the crafting in the game. Here's a link to the album with some more pics.

If anyone is a pixel artist (or just sober) and can help me make Pac-Man look less frumpy that would be awesome.

Great, so I've lost Righteous Authority somewhere, and it's not turning up on any of my companions I can remember handing things off to, nor in any of my usual storage spots.

Any ideas?

Haha what the fuck at the mission where you liberate Castle.
Cheesed the mother Mirelurk by getting her stuck behind a tree and spamming rockets and stimpacks when I got poisoned. Not to mention one of the regular mirelurks was a legendary that kept fucking my shit up until I accidentally crippled its legs with missiles. Power armor was worthless!
This game sometimes lol

Sigh. Can't listen to Radio Freedom. Guy in charge of it keeps saying he can't continue broadcasting till I get the transmitter back up. I checked everything. I even switched the old generators for new ones. Nada. Reloaded an old save from about half an hour ago and same thing. Everything is all fine. Checked online to see that I am not the only one affected by this.

First attacked by raiders than synths, and than finally super mutants. It felt like it was some strange alliance between the three to kill me.

Playing fo3

Newbie qustion

Should i use fast travel or avoid it, which is more fun in the end. I have to wonder if avoiding it simply takes too much time, im only a couple hours in

Just curious if anyone feels that the Capital Wasteland and Mojave Wasteland were more interesting.

So far I feel that way by a mile. I ought the delved opera said this map would be considerably bigger. It honestly feels smaller.

Still love it thou!

Nope. the Capital waste was a fucking shitstain. I was ehhh on the mojave.

It's there for convenience. these games do a good job spacing things out enough where if you feel the need to use it you're not necessarily missing out on anything too pivotal

I assume this is another glitch, but if I check my settlements in my Pip-Boy under data they will show they need something (exclamation sign). Then when I travel to that location everything is green. What gives?

Not a glitch - the exclamation just means it's possible that settlement can be attacked/raided. Defense has to be greater than food + water, I believe, for the exclamation to go away.

Damn

Anyway, I finally made a sniper rifle using the best parts available and I gotta say, I'm pretty underwhelmed.

To one hit kill I'm pretty sure I'll need max rifleman and ninja
Yeah, sniper rifles can be underwhelming until you have the right perks if you're facing stronger enemies

Stuck on a misc quest at HalluciGen - "Recover the Hunting Rifle"

...I've been here an hour and have torn this place apart.
It's on an upper shelf in a room I believe.

Have only explored a fraction of the map, but completely disagree so far. There is so much variety, and I absolutely adore the new focus on verticality, such as the Corvega factory, other tall buildings, and in particular the raised freeways. I always wanted to climb up on those in Fallout 3 but you almost never could. The environments feel so layered as a result.

So I found a captured settler in a building I had already cleared out once, I have no idea where she goes but I let her go and got her out and I get no reward. weird

Anyone figure out what triggers "Legendary" enemies to show up? Are they set or do they randomly generate? I feel like I keep running into them constantly now whenever I'm traveling from place to place. I've run into a legendary mole rat, bloatfly (ridiculously tough to take down), mirelurk (which wrecked me in 2 hits at the end of that quest where you fix the valves) and a radroach (which died in 3 shots... not very legendary).

Last thing I want is to run into a legendary deathclaw or something like that at level 9...

I think they are random and more generate the higher the difficulty.

I think they go to the next settlement you show up at if you talk to them and ask them to come with you.

I like the community building part of the game but i have to do the same thing for every settlement? they should have added an auto build option

I'm trying to complete the game and the filler missions are coming in for each :( I can't enjoy the rest of the story

Wow sentry bots are totally different now. Scared the shit out of me how much he aggro'd me.

Then his hyper mode... Damn. And when they die??? Surprise!

The jank in this game is really starting to get to me. I don't know if I was more forgiving of this stuff when I played Oblivion and Fallout 3 back when those came out, but I can't help but agree with what Jeff Gerstmann said on the bombcast recently. On console this game feels broken to the point where I'm afraid to do anything. I'm afraid when the framerate gets so bad that it's just gonna cause something in the game to break....I hate going through a quest, and fearing if I don't save all the fucking time, that I'll lose a ton of progress on a quest because the scripting fucking sucks.

In a world where we got other, less buggy and quite impressive open world games that have come out in the past year...this shit is just killing the experience for me.

Quicksave every 10 minutes. Hard save every 30 minutes. You'll have a much better experience.

I was planning to play without companions. But the idiotic dialogues of Strong reminds me of trolls from TW3.

EDIT: Does anyone know if we can there are paint jobs for weapons?

You know, I spend more time looking for the bodies of the people I just killed out in the waste lands, a little indicator of dead bodies I didn't loot yet would go a long way

Ok, so just use it when i feel the need to with no regrets, got it

Yeah I killed a mutated mole thing, it resurrected as a legendary monster and got a legendary baseball bat, one of the first things to happen to me in game

I'm about seven hours in, and so far frame rate issues have been minimal, save for a stutter here or there. I've had no real issues in buildings either. I'm very sensitive to that sort of thing too. PS4 version 7200rpm hard drive. Granted I have yet to get to the super mart that's been focused on so much, so I may just be getting lucky.

You need to talk to the person in the settlement you talked to then Percy in Sanctuary Hills

I had done a kidnapping quest in Sanctuary Hills already, this one I was not on a quest on but she was randomly there. I went back to Sanctuary and walked by a few settlers and one of them commented on the rescue ad gave me caps, then the "Kidnapping at Sanctuary Hills" quest pops up again, that was weird

So I guess the main story quest isn't meant to be done straight through? I went to the glowing sea mission and like
4 freaking deathclaws spawned (and close to me too so I couldn't use a Fat Man). No way I was prepared for that after chewing through synths like butter in the previous missions.

You do what you want, I mean I'm level 24 and the last main mission I did was to get to Diamond City. I jsut went exploring and doing side stuff

I'm at level 13 and got an alert to go help stop a raid. Super mutants. There is about 10 of them and its like they have cheat mode on. The grenades are just everywhere I can barely get away from them.

Also I saved the game when I was away from them and then I was going to use a strategy of luring them to me 1 at a time. After I saved there was none of them there and I tried and failed. When I load the save though grenade indicator is already on screen and I die instantly. Not the first time something like that's happened. Not sure what's going on.

"Atrocious"?

Hardly.

Yeah I've played for over 20 hours on PS4 and haven't had any glitches, bugs, freezes, or framerate drops. Maybe I'm just not tech savvy enough or maybe I'm just lucky.

Literally the only game immersion breaking thing I've had is my companion didn't get into an elevator with me and then just popped into existence when I got out on the surface. Everything else has been fantastic.
