PlayStation Experience 2015 is coming to San Francisco December 5th and 6th

Up next, PGW. Hopefully it'll be serviceable or just as good as TGS was. Now that we know Gravity Rush 2 is coming out next year. What about Rime, WiLD, Bigfest, Alienation and Shadow of the beast? Hopefully we'll see SCEE's Michael Denny give a status update on those titles. Will we see a new project from Ovosonico or quantum dream? A psvr game from studio London?

Also, I want to talk you guys about Dreams. So, I've watched media molecule's livestream and I was pretty blown away. People think its going to be sooo hard and time consuming trying to get the finest details on models. Nope. Totally not the case. There instant texture tools and brushes that will give ease in applying fine and spectacular details on levels and character models. This is PlayStation very own and simplified Maya/SFM/Gmod in a sense.

I mean, hear me out. You know in LBP, you can costumize sackboy/girl into available PlayStation Characters? Imagine if they let us fiddle around with ACTUAL character models of the PlayStation Characters? Now wouldn't that be a dream? ;). People will make their own animations or levels bases on these characters. I can imagine make a full fledged animation about Ratchet,clank, jak and daxtee just beating up some clickers and the Chimera.

Anyway, I'm also excited about PSX, maybe we will see bend's new game.

Additionally, as far as fan/consumer friendly events of this scale, there isn't a whole lot in the U.S. where Sony has a major presence. Japan has TGS, Europe has Gamescom and PGW.

Actually, only 25%-30% of the PS4 sales are from the US, and in terms of first party games (especially Uncharted and Gran Turismo), the vast majority of their sales come from outside the US.

Only God of War does better in the US, for obvious reasons.

Too bad hype threads are no longer allowed on GAF. I really enjoyed last year's PSX hype thread and the train derailment that followed. An official thread without the hype train but with all the hype is still extremely fun, though. Just like this year's E3 and PGW threads.

Yep, that hype train derailment after the event was hilarious. Hopefully this year's event will deliver on hype. We already had two amazing conferences from Sony this year, one of which will never be topped.
 
If...I mean IF..Hideo Kojima walks out on stage, I would faint. I'm not even kidding. (I'm just stating an big what if sinero).

I think E3 could easily be topped if they show awaited games which are actually due out within the next 18 months. I've got very little interest in Shenmue and FFVIIR because one only went into development a few months ago and the other is Square-Enix.
 
Poor TheWorthyEdge. He was on the right path, he just happened to hype the wrong FFVII at the wrong event. It's all water under the bridge now as far as I'm concerned. The Hashimoto troll doesn't sting like it once did.

Yep. This is the last opportunity, if he does not show up then we can forget crash :( It has be on PSX if sony bought the IP. I dont want a multiplatform game because i know Activision not going to provide enough budget.

PS4 has big success and momentum, so they really should create esports games like PS All stars and Kart racing because we know how its doing for Nintendo. Sony has IPs and very good Kart racing (CTR) before, so they have to bring back crash to Home with a new game (Single player adventure + multiplayer kart racing) and a new PS All Stars game with proper iconic characters.

It's not that hype is banned. It's that threads where every other post is "Oooh, one ticket please!" are stupid. I welcome the ban.

for some reason I thought it's in late December.

well, Bloodborne's expansion should keep me busy until then.

I'd be okay with a Racer as well. Both Mod Nation and LBP Karting i had fun with, and having all those characters from different games with different cars (*insert that one PS All-Stars Karting pic here*) and cool tracks.. could be tons of fun.
With Sony Smash Bros they created a really good game but with tons of room for improvement. A sequel could be soooo good.
... also with Sony being in the position they are in at the moment, having good relationships with so many Pubs and Devs, the roster would be way better as well.

Yeah this stuff , while the hypetrains were fun and last years PSX train was insane, kinda turn the whole discussion into some off topic stuff. We can still talk and speculate about an event, but with out people wanting "tickets" all the time.

I think the Smash clone is done guys. Nintendo is getting characters like sonic snake and now cloud. Sony had an opportunity to market third party characters and failed with the low budget title they produced. Dissidia looks like it plays different enough to stand out, I don't see another All star title being successful with how smash is taking off. Hope I'm wrong would love to see something high quality from Sony in the genre, but feel like they might have missed th boat here.
