Wait, who's side is Jessica on?

Probably Stark considering what Purple Man did to her and so many others all the while right under the noses of the government that wasn't equipped to detect him, let alone neutralise him.

Luke and Daredevil are probably siding with Cap.

I sure hope they reference Civil War in their respective shows.

Tom Holland has his Ultimates hair style, and Aunt May is rumored to appear. It won't just be Spidey

Damn. They need to let that hairstyle die with 1999.

It's so dissonant watching this right after finishing Jessica Jones. It's literally two different universes.

Doctor Strange, Punisher, Antman, Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Howard the Duck, Guardians and this are under one umbrella.

8 years ago, that was a pipedream.

I feel like Zemo will be in the background throughout the film. Then at the end when Stark and Cap have thoroughly embarrassed heroes the world over, we get the new government sanctioned superteam...The Thunderbolts!

Featuring:

Zemo as Citizen V
Thunderbolt Ross as Red Hulk
Norman Osborn as Iron Patriot
Bullseye as Hawkeye
Abomination as the dumb ugly one
Crossbones as the jobber

There needs to be a villain teamup. Give us the Masters!
It aint a Thunderbolts team without Moonstone on it.

Loved Winter Soldier, so really looking forward to this. I just hope the divide is more than just Cap watching out for his friend.

Was also expecting a spidey tease.

What the heck? People are disappointed they didn't get to see Spidey? I hope they don't show him at all. Keep his appearance a secret until the movie is out. I hate how every single trailer spoils every single thing nowadays.

I want to go in blind but I thirst for Cap3 footage so help me Marvel and don't tease/show Spidey in any pre-release footage. I'm just glad Sony is not making any trailers for this flick. The first trailer would've probably had 2 minutes of Spidey action in it, concluding with a full blown spoiler for the movies final moment.

Just noticed Wanda is taking off flying using hex bolts when the group is running at the camera

Yes.gif

How can Captain America fight Iron Man? He has been consistently portrayed as the guy who says the right leader thing at the right moment, while Iron Man, Hulk and Thor do all the heavy lifting. Like one punch from Iron Man or certainly one laser blast would end it. This totally breaks the internal logic they had going for the series. Otherwise it seems like it might be interesting.

EDIT: Just really the whole thing of them double teaming Iron Man looked terrible. Like how is punching Iron Man going to hurt him?

I think this is the only movie outside the one line from Avengers, that actually connects in some way to The Incredible Hulk movie.
Hah... You're right! That's liv Tyler's character's dad. The General that created Abomonation in the movie. Thought I recognized the character from somewhere.

Star Wars trailers have been pretty good at not spoiling everything, which is nice

why don't people understand that Russo Cap is a goddamn monster?

It definitely feels that way to me too, but I kind of love it knowing that they're really all in the same universe. I'm really curious to see how they'll incorporate the Netflix characters into the movies whenever they decide to. I think I heard a rumor that Infinity War Pt. 2 was going to be the first movie to feature the Netflix characters.

YOOOOO this movie has the same composer, directors & writers of Winter Soldier, aka the only amazing comic book Marvel movie? Fucking in day one. So hype. I want to be more hyped for Batman vs Superman, but I don't trust Snyder much while this is one of if not my favorite storyline in Marvel comic book universe. Plus the people in charge.. Cannot wait for this.

Trailer looks fantastic. I hope Ironman gets his ass beaten as bad as possible. Don't know if they will go about it like the comics, but I hope you hold the L Tony. I have a feeling this story arc is going to continue all the way until Avengers 3 Part I where mid-way Thanos appears and wrecks them.. Then, they have to unite to fight together to beat the bad guy.

Bucky and Cap together as well. <3

What logic? Cap fell out of an extremely tall building and brushed it off. He's clearly above peak human. Not Ultimate U Cap strong but still pretty strong.

Daredevil also had a scene from TIH on a newspaper in Ben Urich's office, the Hulk/Abomination fight.
That too but it's generally been broomed under a rug. Glad to see them bring in the General though. Would be awesome to have him see Banner face to face again.

I just mean tonally. Jessica Jones is this personal story about sexual abuse and this movie looks like it's just 2 hours of punching people in the face.

It's about friendship, yo. Also, most movie trailers make action films look like 2 hours of punching people in the face.

2008 me would've loved that Iron Man beatdown at the end there, but today? I don't know, especially since it's at the hands of the probable killer of his parents.

After finding both AOU and Ant-Man mediocre, I still find myself uber hyped for this one. Looks great, my only issue is the same as TWS, some of the lines sound silly, and while they work fine in a trailer, they may not be so hot in the film.

But hell, even if the writing is spotty, it will probably still be one hell of a ride.

Look's like Age of Ultron... but on a smaller scale. Looks good, but not really hyped going into this.

if AoU needed anything, it was a smaller scope.

My hope is some of the lines are just for the trailer. That terrible "When do we start? We just did" line from the Winter Soldier trailer wasn't in the main film, maybe all the cheese from this trailer won't be in the movie.

If it's anything like recent Iron Man comics...

they're Tony's adoptive parents.

The same reason Batman can fight Superman. They don't actually want to kill each other.

I guess we do somebody that Carol could realistically punch out.

hey hey woah woah wait a minute now.

Carol aint punching out nobody, Moonstone's gonna taker her place and masquerade as the Captain Marvel of the Dark Aven-Thunderbolts. We get Captain Marvel and we don't have to deal with boring ass Carol, it's a win win.

Looking at the beatdown gif, the only time Cap punches Tony is when his head is down and it knocks it down a bit further. Every other hit is Bucky's metal arm and Cap's shield. It's not THAT crazy.

Black Panther looks great even though it's daylight.

I must be the only one who doesn't like the scene from this hype gif

Hard to pin point but it looks almost too rehearsed/choreographed. Almost like a dance routine moreso than a fight.

I know Daredevil probably won't make a cameo (a wasted oppurtunity) but they best at least reference a masked vigilante running around Hell's Kitchen when talking about registration.

A name drop will make me very happy.

The last hit Bucky is serving up is with right non-robotic hand.

Also, Cap is a super soldier. He can punch a hunk of metal and force it to move. C'mon.

Ya it's super stilted.

Clearly, it has to be. Or else those 2 would never stand a chance. Even reality won't let it look right because what is in screen is an abomination.
