Her and Luke refuse to register. She leaves for Canada with their child and Luke stays to fight.

I just read this issue last night.

The amount of people that aren't in this trailer is insane. I'm surprised they didn't keep the stinger of Ant-Man meeting Cap from the D23 trailer. It sounded hilarious.

I know Daredevil probably won't make a cameo (a wasted oppurtunity) but they best at least reference a masked vigilante running around Hell's Kitchen when talking about registration.

A name drop will make me very happy.

Same. The Netflix shows have already referenced the Avenger incident multiple times, the movies should do the same vice versa just to acknowledge the other, smaller scale heroes. It'd be a nice gesture to make it more believable that everything takes place in the same universe.

Black Panther looks great even though it's daylight.

I must be the only one who doesn't like the scene from this hype gif

Hard to pin point but it looks almost too rehearsed/choreographed. Almost like a dance routine moreso than a fight.

Most of the best fight scenes in movies look like dance routines.

Kung Fu action stars were known to train in ballet and dance.

Cap bouncing his shield off of Iron Man's head. Yes.

Sort of strange Iron Man actively hunting down Cap for registration. Ultron was your fault, Tony.

I feel bad for DC. They aren't going to able to avoid comparisons between Batman v Superman and Ironman v Capt America, and as much as I like DC, Civil War is probably going to be so much better than Batman v Superman.

At least Batman v Superman will have a one month head start.

Remember when "Cap 3" was going to be released at the same time as BvS and everyone thought Marvel should back off? Then TWS happened, and now we know what's happening with CW. That turnaround.

The last hit Bucky is serving up is with right non-robotic hand.

Also, Cap is a super soldier. He can punch a hunk of metal and force it to move. C'mon.

I bet the hit Bucky is winding up is a chest grab someone screen capped earlier. Maybe he's trying to rip out his core like it seemed War Machine had done to him.

If this is the case, it seems like guilt and trying to avoid the mistakes of the past would be a huge motivator for Tony Stark. And if this is the dilemma of that dynamic, it would be ironic for Cap', product of the 30's and man out of time, to be the rebel.

GAF hyperbole in full motion... the stakes seem even more comical in this one than they did before.

Accountability and hunting down the Winter Soldier for his "crimes" vs lifting a city and causing global extinction....

Why does the former sound more comical to you?

Remember when "Cap 3" was going to be released at the same time as BvS and everyone thought Marvel was crazy?

No, because that's not what happened. What happened was WB tried to muscle Marvel off that spot by putting Batman v. Superman on that date after Marvel had already claimed it. Once THEY realized what was happening with Civil War, they backed off.

If you had the chance to take out your parents killers, what? You'd sit around and eat Nutella out of jar ?

I mean, Tony was the bad guy in the comic run too. It's just that EVEYRBODY was the bad guy in the comic run because the comic run was shitty and fucked with everybodies characters and made them awful.

Ya it's super stilted.

Clearly, it has to be. Or else those 2 would never stand a chance. Even reality won't let it look right because what is in screen is an abomination.

Come on man. You just admitted pages ago that you're salty over those two beating Stark. Calm down.

This is true. Tony was so shitty that everyone thought he was a Skrull until later when they found out he wasn't.

Why Tony have to job and get Bucky/Captain over? Come on mayne! Someone call the iron spider.

That's the premise of the last Captain America, I doubt they'll rehash it again.

Not the premise of the story, but the premise of the actual fight... their fighting in a giant empty arena sized parking lot. The only thing missing is the one-liners that completely ruined any and all tension from Age of Ultron (which many people from D23 mentioned is what happens in Civil War...) so I'm going to reserve any actual judgement until the movie drops.

Marvel haven't announced a date yet at that point, but everyone assume the date will clash based on their past movies release date.
After Marvel properly announced a date, then WB pushed BvS forward.

Yup. Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung are two that took Peiking Opera, IIRC. So yeah, when it comes down to it, it is a dance. A beautiful one.

This movie is going to leave my balls tingling by the end of it.

I'm sorry Tony. You know I wouldn't do this if I had any other choice... but he's my friend.

So was I.

SON I SHIT MY PANTS. That trailer was fantastic.

Well that was a hell of stealth drop.

However, I did like what I see, and I was giggling like a 8 year old at the end of the trailer when Tony is getting the shit knocked out of him.

If I remember correctly, I'm pretty sure they'd announced that date as the release of a Marvel movie, it just wasn't 100% that it was going to be Cap 3.

It's probably because of them having to animate all the Shield and Iron Man stuff. Even if they green suited a guy in mo-cap to act as an Iron Man stand in, it's going to cause some jankyness. I imagine that's why they really don't do fast paced Iron Man fights typically.

How is that strange? It's the whole point. Tony knows he fucked up with Ultron and is trying to make it right. It's an understandable overreaction on his part.

I am salty, but that scene does look stilted.

It's probably the fact that Iron-Man in that scene is animated. The other two might also be having their actions stitched together with computer animation.

Hopefully that all comes together as the film nears release.

I know why he'd register. I was wondering why he wouldn't give Cap a free pass. But, as others mentioned, his altercations with Cap are more likely due to The Winter Soldier and finding out about the people Bucky has killed.

I joined for Erin Brockovich discussion
Trailer analysis. Thunderbolt slides some woman a
'Sokovia Accords' with the word 'Registration' on it
, so...

Yeah. Also see a tiny glimpse of what looks like Martin Freeman. Grey Suit, in scene where Cap and Falcon look to be handing over the shield and wings.

It was definitely known to be a Cap movie. People on GAF were specifically mentioning that Marvel "must be really confident in TWS" to not budge from that date.
