None of their movements look like they are trying to survive and win a fight. It's just style points stuff. Fluff.
They aren't surviving, they're kicking his ass handily lol its stark who is the one that is trying to "survive" I guess.

Hahahaha my gf at that final exchange between Cap and Tony was just like "Noooo! Stop fighting! You're friends! YOU'RE FRIENDS!!!"

So I just noticed but the fight at the end is that taking place in Red Skull's base of operations?

'But he's my friend.'

'So was I.'

Dem chills, followed by Stark getting worked over like a well oiled machine.

I haven't even bothered to watch Avengers 2 yet, but will be all over this. It feels a little more fresh with them fighting each other as someone who's knows nothing about Civil War.

Everything will be i shambles at the end till Thanos descends on them all and unites them.

Thanos probably going to take some hero bodies to underline his threat.

That scene with cap and BP runnning looks intense.

Looks cool. I'm not a comics reader (I probably should be) but when I hear "Civil War," I think of a long, on-going saga with lots of turns and plot developments.

This seems like it will be a one-off event, kind of like Age of Ultron is "Roughly Two Weeks of Ultron." I know it's just a reality of big budget movies and the way the MCU is set up... but it does make me wish the whole thing was a high-budget TV series that can develop a more intricate story.

Just read the thread and.. you guys know that neither the CG nor the other stuff like coloring and all that ish are 100% done, right?

It's two superhuman dudes trying to outsmart/move/fight a billion-dollar war machine. The idea of "fighting to survive and win a fight" in this context isn't a static one. One could argue that the only way for Buck and Cap to stand a chance against Iron Man is to keep him disoriented with those moves.

2 superhuman dudes who are trained in combat.

I'd expect that slow ass wind up from Ronda Rousey, not Cap! (Topical!)

I'm a little disappointed the stakes seems smaller than I thought, it looks like Cap is fighting for just Bucky. And no Spider-Man :(. At least there is T'Challa, let's hope he fits well in the story.

Finally a serious tone from Marvel. I was tired with the earlier light-hearted tone of marvel movies. Looks great.

Cap and Buck fucking up Tony reminds me of the glorious final fight in The Raid. Bad guy so stronk it takes two good guys dropping straight up tag team combos on him to take him down. Style meter at SSS all day long.

Russo brothers, just fuck me up, fam.

Yeah, I got that same vibe. I especially loved them tossing the shield back and forth.

Winter Soldier was light-hearted?

Black Panther looks great even though it's daylight.

I must be the only one who doesn't like the scene from this hype gif

Hard to pin point but it looks almost too rehearsed/choreographed. Almost like a dance routine moreso than a fight.

I just see that as Bucky and Cap being in sync because their frozen supersoldier bros.

Seeing Spiderman might be the greatest moment in my life. I'm going to literally fanboy in the theater when he appears.
He has been in five movies already. Not that I probably won't get misty eyed myself.

Loved the trailer. Its gonna be another great movie.

Fucking fuck this is the first time I'm really hyped for a MCU film. That trailer ending referencing The Raid.

I don't think Age of Ultron was particularly light-hearted either. Maybe a few slightly more light-hearted scenes, but overall it's a pretty grim movie, at least on Marvel's standards. Not Jessica Jones levels of dark, but not something I'd call light-hearted either. It's no Guardians of the Galaxy or Ant-man.

Oh fuck yes.

No spidey but the trailer is still awesome.

They're really keeping Spidey under wraps for a special reveal....

Really? You've got Cap, Tony, Hawkeye, Natasha, Thor and even the villains cracking jokes all the time. The only ones who were serious were the PTSD-twins and Vision.

Honestly thought the trailer was underwhelming, and I fully expect there to be some topical commentary from the Russo brothers that just pants on head stupid like in Winter Soldier.
