Man this game, too awesome!

Scary though as a low level guy out there in the fields with pretty much everything being high level :D.

This progress bar on my amazon order page is not helping my patience...

I know what you mean. Add to that the fact that I realized just today that I had an old card attached to the order >.< sooo... had to update which of course bumped delivery to Dec 8th. Eff that. Paid an extra bit for 1 day (I have Prime, but had to try) and now it is back to Dec 4th delivery.

Guide still has no delivery date at all =P

Yup on amazon.ca I have two copies ordered and it list the price at 19.71$. Why my order hasn't shipped and yours have, unfair :(

I live farther away and takes longer for the package to get to me. At least that is the excuse in going to use. Hoping it shows up Thursday and I feel a chill coming on for Friday. ;)

Should be tomorrow. OT aren't allowed to go up earlier than 24 hours before the release date.

and in some cases mods will straight up tell you to not post it until the day of/it's about to be released somewhere in the world lol

With Fallout 4 the timeframe was like the day of digital release at night, at midday central time.

I sent an e-mail to Amazon.... :/

Me too, after talking to the CSR I chose I wasn't satisfied with the answer, chose to send them an email and point them that they failed to deliver the last two game on their release day, maybe if they answer quick enough (no idea what's their usual response time) and the person on the other side is a gamer as well they might make sure I get it Friday by shipping it soon.

At least, I'd like to believe it'd do something.

Got home today and realized I had pre-ordered twice from ShopTo. So I have 2 copies of the game sitting here. I must have been hyped :D

So I'm a little PO'ed right now.

If you come across a trailer for this game from NOE, do NOT watch it all the way through. I'm trying to forget what I saw. Spoiler city.

Best Buy just shipped my LE. Hopefully I get it by Friday.

Nice. I still haven't heard anything from them. My order page still just says "preparing to ship."

Best Buy is killing me.

Is the copy of the game in the SE any different? Could I I just pick up the game somewhere else and then return the copy I get in the SE? Growing desperate to play it this weekend.

I see...

A store here in DR is going to have the game at launch date. If you still live here...
oh... Nope. Living in New York right now.

My Best Buy order for in-store pick up is still stuck at the Processing stage...

Is this normal or do I need to start looking for a backup plan :(

What do you guys reckon, I haven't played Xenoblade Chronicles but own it for WiiU and 3DS and I've got this coming on Friday.

Should I just jump into XC X and forget about XC for now.
Go back and play XC for now and leave XC X for a while.
Or play XC X now and XC on the 3DS at bed time :D

Finish up at uni next week and not much work required until February so got a good bit of free time (Although have Witcher 3 to play as well)

Aaaaannnnnddd amazon.ca shipped my order , should receive it Friday .
I'm Actually surprised I was expecting something to go wrong and not get it on launch day.

Man, I wish I could call-in sick Friday -_-

Won't it not be available till the 4th? Why even be concerned till then?

Probably because if something happens and you don't have it by Friday you gotta wait until Monday (for web orders).

I think if I don't get my copy from Amazon on Friday I'll buy it at Walmart and return my sealed copy from Amazon once I get it.

I decided to jump back into the old Xenoblade Chronicles to refresh my memory. I've just made it out of Satorl Marsh, so I'm probably not even halfway.

Don't think I'll finish it before getting X, because of the length. But I have to say, this game is still impressive in my eyes. The scale and world-design is jaw-dropping. Oh, how I wish we'd have gotten an HD version instead of the 3DS one...

XC X is an enhancement of XC so you might not like the first game since it might lack some cool neat feature of the new game. So if you really want to play, do it in the order otherwise you might miss you flying mecha while plaing the first game, lol

Picked it up this afternoon and just played it for an hour or so... all I can say is, we're in for a ride! The game is gorgeous, well worth the wait.

Man, when Elma introduces us to the planet and its wildlife I felt goosebumps... it's finally here. Now, I'm off to the longest night-shift I've ever done.

Anyone know if you need to download those packs before starting the game, or can you start the game first and download them if/when you want them?

You can download them anytime after starting the game. There's no need to download them before starting. However, they significantly reduce loading times (if you have the physical disc, that is). So basically, if you have the space, why not? ;P
