While the online aspects sound interesting, I wish that you could do traditional ~4-player co-op too. Instead it's reserved for boss battles...

Nope.
And the packs are completely optional, they make popin a bit less noticeable and halve load times, although without the packs you're still getting better load times than most games (15 seconds-ish). Also, the load times only appear when you fast travel or go into the Blade Barracks, so you won't have to worry about them too much.

Yep and each one carries it's own art from what I've seen. They are all visible on your Skell as well.

Yes, there is tons of skill customization, including various types of weapons.

Depends, you'd have to know what they spoil to make that call but since you don't I find the trailer quite harmless in that regard.

I guess without context a lot of the stuff goes right over your head. Honestly the biggest one for me was right at the very end of it right after they flash the title. I don't recommend watching beyond that point.

Twas I did. Kinda bummed, but I did save $20, and am getting it on the 4th instead of the 8th. The Artbook isn't hardcover, which was the biggest downer. Still have no idea the size of the USB, which at this point is going to be tiny. Rumor is you can't even format the thing to use it for storage. The artcard isn't that special.

I just spoke to a rep a few minutes ago, got

"Xenoblade Chronicles X Special Edition - Wii U " hasn't been released yet and the expected release date is not known. We'll make sure to update our website listing when we have more information."

Not sure if that was a copy/paste reply, or if that means that their system still hasnt technically dated the game yet and there might be hope for shipping soon. Seems odd they would say the expected release date was not known. Compared to the terrible responses the other reps gave me, this one atleast seemed decent. (I had one keep repeating "Kindly wait for the delivery date to arrive")
