I honestly don't know why people want another Dark Cloud/Chronicle. Watching my other half play through it became a hell on earth for us. It was repetitive, music was god-awful and gameplay was boring.
I really think FFXII has as much, if not more, assets than both FFX and FFX-2 combined, though^^

Music is great, art style is amazing and combat is actually quite varied. Atleast in Dark Cloud 2's case.
I love the music in Dark Cloud. I occasionally put on the playlist and just chill.

I don't think she was, she had played it before and said she loved the game but when we sat down to play it again she couldn't stand how repetitive it was.
That don't sound right. Atleast for a dungeon crawler where you know what to expect. A shame about that ruined experience though.
