But I noticed the Japanese release date was December 6th of 2012 and psx is the 5th and 6th so I thought that was awfully convenient. Gio also announced the localization back on December 7th last year, so it would be nice to have come full circle and be able to boast a bit exactly a year later. Saturday announcement would be so great

I'm calling December 5th (the PSX keynote, specifically). Makes sense to do a surprise "Available Now!" announcement, and plus by the time the keynote takes place it'll be the 6th in Japan, so they can still hit the 3rd anniversary if they wanted.

I think 4 was a bit more focused but 5 was a better game. That said I played 5 only halfway with some translation guides and my middling knowledge of Japanese so YMMV. By all reports though its' going to be a grand game.
