Uhm... isn't Ni No Kuni a Bandai Namco IP? Wouldn't Sony use White Knight Chronicles or one of the other IPs they own for a Level-5 sequel game?

Ni no Kuni is a Level-5-owned IP: https://oami.europa.eu/eSearch/#details/trademarks/010284024

Bandai Namco just published it in the U.S. and Europe.

Anyway, Ni no Kuni 2 is probably a thing, and I don't see why Bandai Namco wouldn't partner with them again on the western publishing given the success of the first game. Sony wouldn't publish it because Level-5 owns it. I'm hoping they have a first-party thing going on with Sony, too.

But we got that already ;).

I get you point and I am hopeful Crash Bandicoot Returns happens today :D.

Great fucking game.

Spyro a hero's tail, was actually really good and fun.

I agree as the game is a really great Jak & Daxter-style platformer.

-Large inter-connected levels to explore
-Spyro feels great to play as
-The new breaths feel good to use
-The game is far more polished and complete compared to Enter the Dragonfly
-The new playable characters (Hunter and Blink) are good and the returning characters (Sparx and Srgt. Bird) are fun to play as
-Level design has a ton of platforming to it
-Game is funny and very colorful
-Music is very solid as well; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmEfB5YLeVI&list=PL2D1D0399C93588E1&index=4

Really like the game and currently playing through it now on my Wii (GC BC) :D.

My final predictions:

  • Sony talking about Destiny, Call of Duty: Black Ops III and Star Wars: Battlefront, and how all of them have been a success on the PlayStation 4 platform.
  • We're getting updates on Final Fantasy VII (PC port) and Fat Princess Adventures, both get release dates but are not released today.
  • Sony mentions the PS2 classics coming to PS4 as announced the other day, showing more of the upcoming games on a image full of logos.
  • Yakuza 5 goes up on PSN before the end of the month. Yakuza 1+2 coming to PS4 as PS2 classics.
  • Extended Uncharted 4 cut of the trailer shown during The Game Awards, which also leads to an in-game demonstration of a city-based level.
  • Sony Bend will show off their project
  • Sony Santa Monica will show a teaser of Kratos and a God of War IV logo.

Everything that won't be there:

  • Final Fantasy XII: HD Remaster, Level-5 RPG, Ace Combat 7, Onimusha, Crash Bandicoot, Final Fantasy VII: Remake, Gran Turismo Sport, Wild, The Tomorrow Children, Rime, Detroit.
  • No firmware talk.
  • No PSN name change feature discussed.

Same really enjoyed that game...also thought the legend of Spyro:dawn of the dragon was pretty awesome too. Great music and enjoyed the characters

Seems someone here hasn't heard of the Yakuza 1 remake :P

This would make the conference for me alone. I want a Yakuza collection so badly for PS4 but I'll take anything else too.

Wow, someone is a negative nancy

Spyro a hero's tail, was actually really good and fun.

I meant more like a PS2 classic release for PS4, and not as a remaster or retail release.

Seems someone here hasn't heard of the Yakuza 1 remake :P
I have higher hopes for that, than a localization happening lol. But I actually forgot about the Japanese release.

Wow, someone is a negative nancy
I'm just trying to be realistic. Last year wasn't super amazing, with only Uncharted 4 demonstration, Yakuza localization and Street Fighter V being anything worth mentioning to me.

Where to watch it live? Anyone want to share a link?
It's in the OP.

5000 seats, that a lot. I remember E3 2005 had 2000 seats (totally random I know but it's the only number I have to compare).
E3 is mostly for press folks, while this is for the fans. There'll be lots of fans.

Dawn of the Dragon might of been a bit flawed (the camera was broken for two-player co-op) but it really was a solid game. That got released on the PS2 actually, so maybe Sony and Activision could put the game on PS4 in the future :).

You know I wouldn't mind getting this as a PS2 classic if they could
latest

Heard good things abou it and it has that looney tunes vibe

Omg, they really need to add this one too. Easily one of my favorite crash on the PS2. I had so many good memories of this game.

We should be just a few hours away from Rogue Galaxy dropping into the store..

I don't even care if it's $15. It's been so long since I've played it I'm way too exciting to start playing it again.

I expect the bolded to happen as well but otherwise your prediction is spot-on in my eyes :).

sony needs to show stuff for next year, i dont even know what big titles they have coming next year. I hope sony bend's project is revealed if not wtf.

I feel really sure in Final Fantasy XII HD Remastered not being there after what Kagari said in this thread. That's my hunch though.

They have lots of big titles next year, that we already know about. Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted 4, Gravity Rush HD, Heavy Rain HD, Gran Turismo Sport and The Last Guardian to name a few.

The reason people want it is due to that being 'leaked' last year during a FF Concert; someone said "We have music for FF VII and FFXII remakes :D!", which was latter backtracked into FFXII Remaster and nothing else was said about it.

I feel that we will get it, but it will be either announced here or at Jump Festa this month :).

Could be a fantastic early 2016 game for people to play on PS Vita and PS4 (please come to Vita if its real.....)

Well that definitely makes more sense ;p

I'm legitimately excited.

Let's go Sony Bend! The creators of Syphon Filter, returning to AAA... it'll be good.
