looks like a moba for gears of war/unreal fans. super pretty, can't wait to give it a shot. just the change in graphics/setting alone will bring in a lot of players that are too embarrassed to play cartoony games

At least it looks different from a traditional MOBA. Graphics look nice and clean. Eh, I'll try it I guess.

Also agree it's puzzling they didn't show this as well.

Remember, we can suppose the real game will have a hud. Minimap, level indicator, allied players indicator, health and mana bar, xp bar, abilities, etc.

I don't think there is a CGI trailer for this. Just an in-engine cinematic trailer and a gameplay trailer.

Comments in the PSX thread about this title were pathetic frankly imo.

I'm not even a Moba player, but when Epic Games comes on stage to present their work, it's worth a look, and it looks like many will eat a fair amount of crow I think. I mean, it even looks good to me, who couldn't be less interested in most Mobas generally.

A PS4/ PC release is also surprising, as well as the mini MS dig during the intro ( "we're soooo glad to be on a PLAYSTATION stage!")

Why don't people like MOBAs? The genre gets so much unnecessary hate on this forum. It's definitely my second favorite genre behind fighting games right now.

The game looks great so far. I'm glad there's more direct control options to the genre coming next year.

One of the more interesting things is that Epic Games is not releasing this on XBOX One.
It doesn't sound like Sony is part-funding this or anything.

Maybe it's like DICE where they stated console optimization would happen for PS4 first and foremost.

Getting in on the MOBA hate bandwagon seems to be what's 'in' nowadays. Not liking the genre is fine, but the outright vitriol some people display towards the genre is laughable

Anyway, this looks GREAT graphically. I'm quite intrigued. I mostly stick to League, but I would be down to try a third person MOBA
