I would watch this. Seriously.
Surprised this isn't a thing. An ok fan comic at least.
Yep that sounds like the best idea. You could also bring back the adventurous aspect of DB with this, as they travel around the world.
I'd watch this so much.

Heh, thanks for the votes of confidence. Never going to happen, but dreams are free, eh? Maybe I should work on my artistic chops.

The way he's so different from Goku really makes me want to see more of Goten when he's older, because the (very brief) glimpse we got of his older self shows him to be different from both his father and his brother, taking things in stride and having a kind of lazy and carefree attitude.

As long as I'm throwing fanfic concepts out there, I imagine Goten inheriting (what remains of) the throne of the Ox King and living up the royal life.

I haven't been watching since I'm waiting for the Funamation dub (The only way to watch DBZ), but has Toriyama got over his hate of Vegeta, the best character yet and is giving him some spotlight ? In the movie it was messed up how he did Vegeta.

We won't really know until the final battle with Frieza, I guess. Hopefully it's different than RoF.

Well he's basically the co lead with Goku ( and his currently hinted at as the stronger of the two) but we don't know the conclusion to the Frieza arc yet

I don't either.

He would just joke around and get nothing done.
Vegito was actually pretty competent and had a plan, act like such an obnoxious jackass that Buu would be forced to absorb him to get rid of him.

Of course he didn't know it would undo the fusion. I also wonder how he figured that being absorbed wouldn't "assimilate" him like everyone else but then again he did beat up Buu as a sentient candy ball so I guess he knows what he's doing.

I doubt SSG Vegito will happen and if it does he'll be much weaker then he should be...otherwise he'd be way to powerful.

AT might just forget about how powerful the Potara Fusion made Goku and Vegeta though [as mere Super Saiyans] so it could happen.

I've decided that SSJG Vegito totally needs to be a thing

I don't care how or why.

Would be awesome.

Gogeta is far more likely. There's no way Goku & Vegeta (Vegeta most of all) is gonna use the Potarra earrings again. Remember, it's permanent (well, technically). Fusion dancing just makes more sense to do.

They can ask the dragon to separate them.

Kibito and the young kaiohshin did it in the manga.

They keep on mentioning "working together" as a thing they should do which I figure will be something other than fusion when they do it.

Pretty much. Also, I think it's gonna be much, much cooler to see them fight side-by-side as an actual coordinated team after all this time than just having them fuse together again.

Gregory, tho.

Eh, Toriyama isn't actually writing the episode scripts for Super, just a story outline. I doubt he said anything about Gregory, considering how he wasn't in the movie where Toriyama actually changed the script directly.

He was there because the anime staff wanted to use him, just like Satan's disciples or the reference to the Ginyu/Bulma incident.

Could these things be there since they kept at least two of these for Kai and Super replaced Kai timeslot wise? Though I guess those episodes would have been awhile ago.

They fuse, and
Gohan takes the free spot in the tournament lineup

Here I am... still waiting for this damn thing to get dubbed. Seriously, I thought Funimation was doing some sort of DB Super event around this time. Whatever happened to that? Was that just not true? I remember it being posted in this thread a few months ago.

I just caught the latest episode.

They even justified Tagoma->
Ginyu
in such a way that it's not a retcon. Unbelievable. This is my personal favorite episode of Super yet, between this and characters pseudo-dying, or at least being shot full of holes.

I was thinking Tagoma's character design was kind of wasted in Revival of F. Happy to see this is their replacement for the incredibly boring Z fighter musou the movie attempted to do.

I don't think they have the rights yet.

I just hope they don't drag the Frieza fight over 5 episodes.
I'd be fine with it if they added new stuff. In the movie the way Goku fought and then tagged out for Vegeta was pretty lame.

Overall, though, I hope it's over pretty quick, too.

Nothin' happening yet, bub. Toei is being all picky about DB stuff right now.

Nope, but dying (again) could be the catalyst for a new power boost. He didn't die in the movie, that's for sure.

A magazine scan with spoilers for this week's episode says
that Gohan will indeed awaken a great power to protect his friends. But his body won't be able to handle it.

Which makes no fucking sense considering how well BoG and RoF did for them over here. RoF dub had an insanely fast turnaround too.

Toei's pretty whack. Seems they're even taking down DBZ Abridged videos, maybe. Like, damn they are out of touch.

Super Saiyan Green let's go

"But Toriyama-sensei, that makes no sense"

"It's in homage to Piccolo"

Dance fighting, like Whis. I want to see it.
