That was my thought. It seems like the left one is more of a concept. Like, yo, this is what he looked like back in the day.
I mean, we know from that TV spot that Rey and Leia have that "fond farewell", which is right before she meets with Luke. It wouldn't make sense for him to appear before then outside of the flashback.

I can confirm, that me and many others were promised GAF Gold to promote the new Star Wars movie. I assume Evilore in turn gets paid by Disney. I have actually never watched a Star Wars movie in my life and am only doing all this to earn my place amongst GAF elite. Sorry.
