I want that to happen more than any other possible outcome. I want to see how far down the toilet this show can go. If they work hard enough, they can achieve sub-2.0 ratings. It's going to be shit no matter what, let's embrace the darkest timeline.

When he did it, I was hoping he'd follow it up by cutting a (bad) promo talking shit to HHH and then turn on the fans for not supporting him. Then have Sheamus come out, kick him in the face, and take the belt. Then Roman goes into heel mode cutting short promos to get heel heat and dismissing the crowd while going on his revenge campaign up until the point he suddenly swerves face before getting the belt at Mania or wherever the writers wanted to feed it to him.
Hell he may not be any more over but it would have at least made him more interesting and justified the HHH spear.
Honestly, I wanted him to take HHH's deal to get the title shot, win because of it, then turn on HHH playing it as a long con, then lose it to Sheamus and do the above, but whatever.
