Where are the spoilers.
There is a guy who posted a screen shot of a Chinese Theatre pass on Reddit (Barrygibfan) but it depends whether you believe it or not. He's basically posted a lot of his thoughts, which are that not a lot is explained.
Where are the spoilers.
Oh, so she's not gonna become a Jedi in The Force Awakens, and just wears the lightsaber. Hopefully she gets one fight with it.
Why?
Because she has more potential than Kylo? Same could go for Luke cutting of Vader's arm in a rage.
Did Luke train with Yoda? No. He got his ass handed to him in ESB but managed to overthrow Vader. You'd think that the most powerful Jedi/Sith in history wouldn't allow himself to be overpowered so easily. But, then again ... he was pretty messed up emotion wise.
Stuff like that is world-building, you don't need to explain random things like that. Besides, you know there will be material that delves into every little thing, there always is with Star Wars.
Explaining all the little details and motivations is what bogs movies like this down.
Using a light saber has nothing to do with being a Jedi. Luke wasn't a Jedi yet in Empore Strikes Back. He wasn't till Return of the Jedi. It's a long process. She can use the force, fight with a saber and so on and still not be a Jedi yet in TFA.Oh, so she's not gonna become a Jedi in The Force Awakens, and just wears the lightsaber. Hopefully she gets one fight with it.
Not asking to for them to explain all the little details but with a change to a character as revered as 3PO people will surely want to know to why. Even a quick quote from the character wouldn't bog the movie down surely.

Things are that never explained
I mean if they make the effort to change the appearance somewhat of a character, 3PO and not explain it, why? Surely they know people will see these things and wonder the reasoning behind it. Even a quick sentence wouldn't of gone amiss. Strikes me as lazy.
They never explained his leg
30 years have passed, there are bound to be a lot of changes to a lot of the characters we know and love. I don't know, some people prefer exposition like that and others don't - and that's fine. But, for me, to stop the action and pacing of the core story to explain something as random as a red arm would be as irritating as it is for them not explaining it to you.
Thought this was interesting

Last Star Wars tweet before I sleep: Easily 90% of the rumors you've heard about the movie up until tonight are complete horseshit.
So it's seems universally that the movie is pretty good and on par with the OT. Some issues (it's sounds like it doesn't explain everything (joy of having it be a trilogy). But honestly coming into the showing I am seeing Thursday night.. It sounds exactly all I need to know about it.
I see. It would be very nice if someone can explain to me how one becomes a Jedi, if using the Force isn't even enough to be considered a Jedi.Using a light saber has nothing to do with being a Jedi. Look at his next tweet. He says he knows nothing about recent rumors. He means rumors from a long time ago.

So Jedi can be considered a faction within the good side of the force. Just like Knights of Ren and Sith are two different factions of the dark side?I think it has to do with "facing the trials". Luke's trial was facing Vader the second time. He was tempted by the dark side, there, and tapped into it to best Vader when he taunted Luke about his friends and sister. He then rejected it and cast his blade away. Perhaps that is the mark of a Jedi Knight.
The Jedi and the Sith are just two orders of force users, anyway. I know the old canon had more. In terms of new canon, the Nightsisters and Knights of Ren are two dark side orders that aren't Sith. Who is to say that there aren't similar organisations that are not Jedi?

what? the pastebin was that old?
was it posted in this thread back then?
Naming Kylo Ben is a bit weird.
first of all it's the name of Luke's EU son he had with Mara Jade, which made sense.
But I don't seen Leia and Han naming their Son Ben, they didn't know Kenobi at all, that's a bit odd.

Oh lawd this film is going to trigger people.
Did you think it was lazy when Threepio randomly got a silver leg in the OT and it was never explained?Things are that never explained

Looks like it. Got details such as Artoo and opening line right days before we learned of them. We have now has multiple other sources verify his other points. All evidence says it was the real deal.Wow the pastebin was right then?

Nothing about what he says about Poe seems wrong. It matches everything we know so far regarding Poes roleOK probably changed back to pastebin being legit in my mind. It's been a full on day so I'm allowed to flip-flop a bit lol.
They obviously got some details wrong like with Poe, but considering we have no idea of how they viewed the movie (it was the 10th after all), I think it's fair to guess that they might not have paid perfect attention and/or had a less than perfect memory of minor things.
I thought Poe showed up at Maz's castle attack?Nothing about what he says about Poe seems wrong. It matches everything we know so far regarding Poes role

I have no clue what to make of some of the stuff I'm hearing.
It feels like anything substantial is going to be in Episode 8. Ugh.
Also Rey chopping off Kylo's arm? Are you fucking kidding me?
The x-wings do but based on shot list we don't actually see him outside a cockpit till the resistance base. Hard to distinguish anyone in those sort of cockpit only shots.I thought Poe showed up at Maz's castle attack?
I was going to post this above, but backed out, now I see it repeated elsewhere.
I'm gonna go ahead and post it. We'll find out in like 2 days anyways.
Reading some things on TFN. I'm not even registered, and I can't verify anything. But some guy is dropping some supposed spoilers...they seem to match the pastebin.
This guy claims to have gotten information from his friends who went to the premier. They seemed to have liked it.

Finn -
The movie simply doesn't say whether he's force sensitive, but he's good with the lightsaber (That could just be his friends being impressed with the choreography) Says that he goes "from coward to hero" and seemed to think it was a decent arc. Coma at end of movie. Rey takes him with her to visit Luke, while he's still in a coma (I guess he stays on the falcon with Chewie?)
Rey -
We don't know who her parents are. They are only glimpsed briefly, it's a question for a later film. Rey/Finn actually are crushing on each other. Hints that Rey takes Kylo's arm in their duel.
Then there's this :

- Seemed down on the movie, but once again, matches the pastebin. He posted his ticket/nametag thing.
He says a bunch of stuff. Kylo isn't as good as he lets on. That his real name really is Ben.
Says the fight plays out as : Kylo knocks out Rey. Finn stands up to him. Kylo knocks the saber out of Finn's hand. When Kylo see's it's Anakins saber, he tries to force pull it, but Rey actually force pulls it first (She's stronger with the force). Rey cuts HIS hand off. Doesn't say how Finn gets hurt.
Seems to be a little discrepancy. The reddit poster doesn't think Finn/Rey are as close as TFN guy is saying. He seems to think it's more friendly, but later acknowledges some flirtation. He thinks Finn not being FS is conclusive although it's never stated in the movie.
He also seems to imply that Han is a bigger role in this movie than expected. From what I can tell, the Rey > Han > Finn idea seems to hold true, at least after they actually find Han. He views Finn as a comedic sidekick, notes his humor a lot.
Poe/Phasma/Hux not in the movie much.
Calls Snoke a "gigantic smeagol" because he appears as a big hologram.
I haven't gone through everything. But both seem to, at least loosely, agree with the pastebin (But both seem to have some differences with one another). Could all be bullshit. I dunno.
I'm...maybe starting to believe the coma theory.
