I've noticed an interesting trend with Kojima's games and gaf. Take a look at the following list of all games made by him:

If that were possible, EA and Activision would literally be shoveling money to his doorstep. You're not getting this game until 2019 earliest. Realistically 2020. And at that point, it might make more sense to be a PS5 launch title.

It's a completetly new game that has nothing to do with MGS or Silent Hills.
Imo he's missing a huge opportunity by not doing Silent Hills(with a different name obviously)

How this game is funded, will be interesting. Sony will not give him a ridiculous amount of money, so I really hope the producer is experienced and Kojima will listen to him. He has no backup plan anymore, what does he do when the Sony money is gone?

That's the thing I don't think he's necessary working on a big AAA title with 4 years of development time and a proprietary engine. I also don't think they're completely starting from scratch.

I personally didn't hate MGS2 - But people who did hate both, did so for similar reasons - MGS2 and MGSV have one thing in common HUGE SPOILER
