One thing that's worth pointing out is the fact that the Xbox still hasn't got its own 360 store.
Now, if I was a publisher I'd be reluctant to have my games BC until I could have them front and centre on a dedicated store front.

RDR... Imagine it just showed up today, it may sell a few copies.
Now, Imagine it turned up today BUT there was a dedicated store front for 360 games, indeed it would sell a sh*t load!

So... We'll have to wait and see but I don't think we're getting a dedicated estore for BC until February, maybe then some of the big hitters, blops2, RDR etc will be available.

That's my theory...


Anyway, the 2 games I most want are RDR and USF4

Yeah I bought Gears of War Ultimate during Black Friday and I played it online. I still haven't gotten my tokens for the GOW games yet. =l

Just launch it while the console is connected to the internet / xbox live.

You don´t have to play an actual online MP game

Since it's coming in waves, as long as you played Gears Ultimate on your account before December 31st you're guaranteed to get them through Xbox Live messages. If you're getting concerned though, definitely ask live chat support about it, they may (or may not) help you out!

Also, in the Xbox support forums, it is mentioned that the last wave was on December 10th, and that they will be coming regularly through to early January.

Yep, as long as you basically open the game while signed in on Xbox Live you're good to go!

It's installed but I get the old 'do you own this or have the disc or see in store' message click on see in store and comes up as unavailable.

I have used a US account (xboxone) but I live in Belgium and buy games from the US digital store.
I can't seem to get any of the xbox 360 games for gold.
I always get "Your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete this transaction from your Xbox.".
Does anyone who lives somewhere else but uses the US store worked out how you get the xbox 360 gold games (I have a valid Gold subscription btw)?
