Why does anyone have to fill any role, why can't they just be?

BREAKING: Disney says cumulative global sales for 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' near $130 million
Ok. So just one sun? But the first time it was used it didn't use up the sun fully? Cuz like, it' didn't go dark the first time. But then they knew it would the second time. Also they could see the beams in space from the ground, so they were in the same galaxy? The whole spacial relationship of that thing to everything else made no sense.
How will they reconcile that with Vader's redemption? Could it be that Luke kept what happened on the Second Death Star a secret?
When people complain about Rey being proficient with a lightsaber right off the bat, ignoring a force power up, are people forgetting she showed god efficiency earlier in the film with another melee stick weapon?
No. Abrams is a fanboy and repeating motifs to the point of inanity is a Star Wars staple. There will undoubtedly be a big reveal, party split, a seduction, and a main character captured/imperiled in Ep 8 and the mastermind will be confronted and there will be a final seduction and a chance for redemption in Ep 9.
All of star wars happens in the same galaxy
Do you know how big a galaxy is ?
So Snoke was a hologram projection? It didn't seem clear that he was, and he ended up just looking like a ridiculous 50ft guy that took me out of it every time he appeared.
Because it is more emotional? I don't know how to explain that I felt more for these characters during the movie than I did with past movies. My sister was in tears in multiple parts of the movie.
There were tons of funny bits in the movie that didn't reference ANH.
Anytime BB-8 did something humorous it got a huge laugh from my theater, the Stormtroopers backing away with Kylo destroyed the control room, "that's not how the force works", Finn popping off in front of Phasma, "So I talk first? You talk first? How does this work", "stop grabbing my hand!" and tons of other really funny lines that I can't remember right now.
All of the above were funny without having seen ANH.
Already a member of the rebellion, rescued by a stormtrooper, and leaves data with a droid.
Poe is Leia.
How will they reconcile that with Vader's redemption? Could it be that Luke kept what happened on the Second Death Star a secret?
So you just find anything funny.

It's a transformed planet, because trees and shitI think he's more or less wondering something that wasn't answered in the movie (unless I missed it): does Star Killer move? Is it actually a planet or is it a space station disguised as a planet? If it's a planet, I don't know how it would move--seems like something that would need explaining.
So you just find anything funny.
So you just find anything funny.
Aren't those supposed to be the humorous bits in the movie

nah
Finn + Rey forever
I think you should just forget about the rule of two. And I doubt he's a Sith, just a totally new character. So do we know anymore about Supreme Leader Snoke? Do we think he could be a sith that broke the rule of two or just an evil asshole? Loved the movie but damn it just left me wanting more.
The scene with Captain Phasma was a joke. I thought she was gonna be some sort of badass. Complete letdown.
How will they reconcile that with Vader's redemption? Could it be that Luke kept what happened on the Second Death Star a secret?
lol @ this notion that Mark Hamill is close to death. He's fucking 64 years old! He's not 90 (Max Von Sydow, who actually is close to 90, looked great in this). And he's in better shape now than he has for like 15-20 years.
People find different things funny, no need to be a condescending dick. I thought those moments were fun too.
That is the telling word
Han didnt get a proper burial. Hes alive.
Rey on the other hand was a mix of things like her being also self taught at melee combat because she was clearly great with that staff, but also it was obvious the force was guiding her strikes towards the end because the movie was trying to beat us over the head with the whole Light >>>> Dark thing.
Hmm, did Rey and Poe have any dialogue? I dont remember them speaking at all, the only thing I remember is BB8 running to Poe and Rey looking over.
Han didnt get a proper burial. Hes alive.
Another reason I think Ren knows about Vader's redemption - Ren knew the location of Vader's grave, which means Luke had to have told him that.
Depends how much say Abrams has in the other really.No. Abrams is a fanboy and repeating motifs to the point of inanity is a Star Wars staple. Did he though? He had the helmet, but that doesn't mean he went and got it personally. Did I miss something?Another reason I think Ren knows about Vader's redemption - Ren knew the location of Vader's grave, which means Luke had to have told him that.
So is Finn force-sensitive or not? I mean, I think he is, but they leave it a bit ambiguous.
He really does look great. And he looked even better in the premiere than he did in his getup in this movie.
He really got into shape for Episode VIII. Kylo Ren vs. Luke atop some city in the clouds is inevitable.
I think you should just forget about the rule of two. And I doubt he's a Sith, just a totally new character.
Neither Finn nor Rey being good at melee combat bothered me at all.
Stormtroopers clearly received some kind of melee training since that one trooper had an electro-tonfa, so Finn was likely to be part of such training as well.
Rey on the other hand was a mix of things like her being also self taught at melee combat because she was clearly great with that staff, but also it was obvious the force was guiding her strikes towards the end because the movie was trying to beat us over the head with the whole Light >>>> Dark thing.
Also in my personal head cannon, I wanna believe that Kylo was a shit duelist in general, because let's be honest if Luke was the master he wouldn't teach saber techniques primarily, he'd focus on the mysteries of the force.
Did he though? He had the helmet, but that doesn't mean he went and got it personally. Did I miss something?
Thinking more about how Ren finds out about Vader, Luke seems too wise to not use that story as a warning. I like the other idea mentioned above though, maybe Ben was too young before he was taken or he left.
Friendzoned
yeah, maybe using a real life slaughter of actual children for a Star Wars joke wasn't the best idea
Think the movie pointed toward him not being force-sensitive and the marketing was all misdirection. Lots of that in the trailers which I appreciate now having finally seen the movie
For example, from the previews it appeared that Poe was going to double cross the good guys due to mind control or something. Glad that never happened.
