ELLIOT QUEST IS FINALLY ON SALE!!!!

ARHJGGL;HLDFG;HKH

Not like it's a big deal but I basically promised myself to buy it the first time it went on sale and it never has.

That said this is gonna fucking destroy me.

I think I'm done for this month 'cause also got Wolfenstein New Order, South Park Stick of Truth and Talos Principle on other sales. God I love PC gaming.

It will, but it'll be a glorious experience. Remember to keep notes, old school style.

Great, great game. Easily one of my favorites from last year.

Wolfenstein New Order
My praise won't exactly be breaking news, but I actually finished that today and, damn son, you're in for a good time. Went straight into The Old Blood and am loving that too.

Hope you didn't buy it yet...

Thanks guys. That's a shame about Elder Scrolls Online. It sounded as though it could be a huge single player experience with 1000 quests.

Don't listen to the haters - I've put about 30 hours into the game so far, leveled up my character to about lvl 26 and gone on tons of quest. I've never joined a party with other people. The game has a huge single-player component and can almost be completely played single player with the exception of a few dungeons and (probably) some end-game content.

Kind of sad I bought Fallout 4 on GMG for sale but after conversion it comes back to about 58 or so Canadian dollars. Which is still cheaper than 79.99$ on the Steam store.

Thinking about Dying Light, as some friends want me to co-op with them. Wondering about what else to get. Maybe FF7 to see what all the fuss is about?

Coming off the highs of Witcher 1 I'm finding myself sincerely disliking Witcher 2 for a number of reasons, a combination of extremely frustrating combat (oh I'm sorry, did you meticulously take out that group of enemies one by one? Get backstabbed, lose half your health, and lose 20 minutes of game time because no autosaves lol) and story content that doesn't feel as well paced or really anywhere near as meaningful as a lot of the sidequests in Witcher 1 felt. I think I'm somewhere in chapter 3 ... ? (in the dwarven village) is it worth trudging through and finishing the game or can I just skip the remainder and go to Witcher 3?

Still getting f***d on price for living in Australia...

Will skip this one i think unless something truly amazing appears.

Edit: OOH! Civ5 Complete Edition?!!?

*bought*

I would say finish it.

prepare for extensive modding if you get FF7(its worth it though)

I also found myself disliking Witcher 2. Loved Witcher 3 though. Seemed less of a cohesive story than something like Mass Effect, and I didn't really notice any major story elements from importing my TW2 save, so you can go ahead and skip to TW3. Mind you, TW2 is the shortest of all these games, so if you can power through the 30-40 hours, it's not so bad.

Only 5+ this sale.
(Good thing too, because the level requirement had been creeping up for the last few ones)

Also, if you reach 5+ before the end of the sale, you will get everything retroactively.
No, you still don't get a thing until you're level 8, same as last sales.

GAF.. Should i double dip on GTA 5? I have it on Xbox One, but i have a PC now with a 970. How is the PC online community?

Anyone know of any good co-op games that are part of this deal?

Trying to find something nice to play with my girlfriend. Genre isn't really limited.

Not sure if anyone answered me before (sorry!) but is Empire at War any good?

It's pretty old at this point, but if you're looking for a Star Wars game, yes, it's pretty good. If you're just looking for something in the genre, there's probably much better out there now.

So this:
Explore Your Discovery Queue

If you’re Steam Level 5 and above, you’ll get a North Pole Noir Sale trading card once you view all the items in your daily Steam Discovery Queue. You can continue and go through your Discovery Queue two more times each day to get a maximum of three card drops each day. (If you reach Steam Level 5 before the end of the sale, you’ll be granted the cards you earned by exploring your Steam Discovery Queue during the sale).

Go to your queue
Is wrong?

Iron Brigade - 3rd person shooter/tower defence with great humour.
Pixeljunk Monsters - Just tower defence
Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate - 2D Shooter/puzzle/gravity game.

I really feel like playing a JRPG right now. Are there good classic JRPGs on steam other than the early Final Fantasy games? And if not, is Final Fantasy V good?

Mmmm... Should i?

I wasn't able to get KOTOR to work on my Windows 7 computer even after applying fan-made patches, but I could just be an idiot. Either way, be aware you may have to do some tinkering.

Edit: I have an AMD GPU so based on the wiki article, that might be my problem. I don't think I tried that specific fix.

Cool, thanks.

I have virtually zilch experience with the genre, so I'm sure it'll suffice as an entrypoint and if I find myself enjoying the mechanics maybe I'll look at newer, better alternatives.

Just wanted to make sure it wasn't, like, terribad.

It's hard to go wrong with Life is Strange and Tales from the Borderlands if you're a fan of adventure games. These are taking two of my top 5 spots for GotY. KOTOR is pretty great too although KOTOR II has been getting a lot more attention on Steam lately due to the updates to add achievements and workshop support, built in widescreen fix, etc.
