Undertale is very good.
I like the fact that the game doesn't have achievements.
ew no achievements. I will still buy...

Hey, remember when I said that I had a (sadistic) surprise yesterday? Well, here it is.
Here's a link to the Google Doc with all the info you'll need (kinda).
Trivia site said:*Note: I have no way of checking if the code is valid since its from the Alienware stream.
Pray that the code works, lest it crush your dreams.
Ugh, not sure whether I want to get Poi or The Long Dark to play right now. Looking for a fun single player game that's $10 and I've narrowed it down to these two. Choices.
Oh. Guess I don't need to learn Calculus for a code that may not work then. You win this round, Dong.
Had a lot of fun with both of these games. Hope you enjoy them as wellI picked up Way of the Samurai 4 and its permanent DLC (not the temporary scrolls or equipment stuff) and Superstar Dance Club (Console Classic).

The Long Dark is really good, it's one of the best survival games out there.
Steam newcomers!
I searched through some spares I had and put together what I think is the perfect Steam starter pack. It's 5 of the best indies on Steam:
- Risk of Rain
- Fez
BastionFTLMark of the NinjaLIMBO
If you're new and need a place to start, send me a PM (so it doesn't get lost in this pace of this thread) and I can give you a code, some codes, all codes, whatever.
I think I have 2 Fez, but only 1 of the others.

It's super boring having a winter sale with no daily deals. Makes me not come back each day and likely reduces the amount I would spend on impulse buys.
Pretty sure the answer is no. No, you can't beat Dongs.![]()
It's still true, unless you can do calculus.I already tried that. :|
Does it improve as it goes on? I did two episodes and wasn't really feeling it...
It'll most likely work, but there's always a small chance of it not working. I wouldn't really worry about it, though, since they could probably replace the code.
But you've already been waiting months, maybe years in some cases, for the games you want to drop to a price point that suits you. How can a day or two more possibly matter?I, on the other hand, love it. I see what I want right away and get what I want, right away. No waiting involved = winner in my book.
(Not waiting until the Encore sale to see if what you want is going to be on a daily is the greatest thing)
Timegated anything is the death of me.
There's very little gameplay (one or two puzzles in each of the first two episodes) and it's not really obvious how your choices will end up impacting the future, making them feel somewhat arbitrary.
The characters are not really my favorites, but they are fine. I just felt like the plot was a bit telegraphed and plodding. Part of this might be because super-power origin stories have been done to death, I am sure, and part of it might be because the teen girl protagonist, while novel, felt a bit forced.
That looks to me like it's Calc 1 level, right? Looks pretty straightforward.Hey, remember when I said that I had a (sadistic) surprise yesterday? Well, here it is.

Interested in getting Bedlam and Contradiction - Spot the Liar. Bedlam is down from $20 to $8, and I just wanted to get opinions from others on the game. As for Contradiction, should I hold out for a deal, or just get it now?
Hmm decisions for tomorrow. I can either get South Park or Undertale. I'm a South Park fan though so that's where I'm currently swaying.
I'm debating whether or not to pick up Pillars of eternity. It's at a nice price for the base game but then I'd need/want to add on the dlc pass which is sadly not on sale as far as I can tell. Plus I'm guessing they'll bundle it all together at some point when the second half of the dlc comes out. Pillars looks like everything I want out of a game though so I keep waffling back and forth on it.
Do multiple playthroughs still feel enjoyable as you start getting into your 3rd or 4th character?
