KOTOR 2. Never played any of these and I read number 2 is a really good game. Just kinda hoping I don't need to play 1 to know what's going on.

Both are really good games. I imagine the big plot twist of KotOR1 would be spoiled by KotOR2 though.

I've yet to play much of KotOR2 (the first mission is a drag), but I've played through KotOR1 around 2-3 times now. It's easily one of the best games I've ever played.

It's stupid as hell, though. You don't know if Ubisoft is part of the sale or not given the "will it go deeper or not" fiasco.
I just noticed the classic Tomb Raider games at least went from -75% to -85% during this sale. It's pretty jarring if this becomes a new stealth flash/daily, as then I shouldn't buy games at start of the sale in case they drop more.

Might the price drops have anything to do with the latest Humble Bundle?

Escape Goat 2 is now €3,99.
Brilliant game and criminally overlooked.

I'm not a huge fan of puzzle/platformers but this is one of the genre's best.
It's a masterclass in puzzle and level design.
Higly recommended.

I still can't decide if I should buy Ori and the Blind Forest now or wait for the Definitive Edition next year.
It's so pwetty!

Full Bore looks interesting as well.

Was not playing on buying anything but the christmas gaben spirit got to me.

My cart right now:

Murder Soul suspect
Hitman blood money
Undertale
Jedi Knight collection
The stanley parable
Xwing collection
Axiom verge
Tales from borderland
Metal Gear Rising
The legend of heroes trails in the sky

Hows crypt of necrodancer? I can prob snoop around my bank accounts in the states to get the rest..possiblely for the pack (10$)...the extra bills worth it for the pack?

As someone who likes adventure games, should I play The Longest Journey? I noticed there's a bundle with it and its sequel on it. Should I grab that?

The Longest Journey is a classic point-and-click game. It has a great story. It also has one of the most notorious "bullshit adventure logic" puzzles of all time. So play it, but don't be ashamed to use UHS hints or a walkthrough if you need to, because damn.

The sequel, Dreamfall, is HEAVILY watered down. A lot of the game is what the kids are calling "Walking Simulator" these days. Its bullshit lies in the unnecessary combat. The story is kind of unsatisfying, but hopefully Chapters fixes that.

I recommend the first. The second is meh, but you might want it anyway in the hopes that Chapters gives some closure.

Crypt of the necrodancer got a lot of good impressions. It's Japanese release will feature Monokuma.

Murdered: Soul Suspect is included in the 1$ tier on Humble Bundle, so you might want to buy it there to save a few bucks and get extra games. And more games are to be announced, maybe Hitman Blood Money as well.

Whaaaat? I remember loving Dreamfall, so much so that I even now consider it being in the top 5 of all time for me. Granted, played it when it back when and haven't tried it since.

So far, the lack of timed sales actually caused me to buy more than in the past few years.

Anyway, has anyone tried Ultionus: A Tale of Petty Revenge? Is it worth checking out? Seems to harken back to old PC platformers, and it has music by virt, so I'm interested.

EDIT:

It's still a well regarded game, just that quite a few people were disappointed in it compared to the original TLJ.

Also, curious. From watching the trailer it seems like it could be fun.

anyone here got Party Hard? The concept sounds great and it looks decent enough... Wondering if it holds up though...

Only played the first couple levels so far, but I can give my initial impressions. Didn't know a whole lot going in, but it was quite different than I expected which isn't a bad thing. It's more of a stealth almost strategic killing game. You're basically trying to take everyone out without letting other people see you do it, you can do this by setting traps(poisoning party food, putting a golf cart in drive when people are in front of it), or by isolating people walking around and killing them. You get more points for hiding bodies and stringing kills together. If a body is found the police come, but if no one saw you do it, they'll just leave. Pretty interesting.

Also if you do get it the voice acting is dogshit, but the cutscenes are really just mega man level story filler so its not too important.

I mean, with modded mouse controls it's playable, but I don't think it's outlandish to think that wanting to play DS1 with m&k is a minority opinion.
With fixes DS works good enough with m&kb in order to not request a refund, that's all.

Chapters more than lives up its pedigree, though it's more like Dreamfall than TLJ in terms of gameplay and difficulty/b.a.l.
