I'm a PS+ subscriber but I won't even download the game. I'll grab it on Steam and play it there.
That is correct. Both will appear in your library.
Because Arc is stupid to not have it be one month. But you know... new to Steam and all that.

They're completely separate games. Saves aren't compatible between them, and they have their own achievements.

It is more about the reasoning and the logic behind the thinking than it is buying it on steam or getting it on PS+.
Well I just finished Brother: A Tale of Two Sons and have finally composed myself after that ending. An absolutely brilliant game with very unique controls and interactions with the gaming world.
It's a bargain for its current steam sale price. I'm sure most of you have played it but if any of you haven't, it's almost impossible not to at least enjoy the game's uniqueness.

And regarding buying it on steam versus free on ps4.. I think it's downright asinine to judge someone for getting the game for free via a service that you pay for...if you want to help the developer even more by buying it on steam then good on you but there is nothing wrong with not doing that.

Speedrunners and duck game are pretty simple concepts that people might be able to pick up quick. Also I have the Jackbox Party pack on my X1 and that's usually always fun to break out with a group for 4-8 people, plus they can just use their phones to play, no controllers needed.

So I recently noticed Steam has been overcharging my purchases by a couple of dollars, ever since they changed the currency from USD to my local one. What is this hidden charge? Tax? They never specify this in their receipts.

I have used it three times this sale. I'll buy a game, give it a shot and if I don't like it I'll refund it. Been pretty nice. I have bought SO many games this sale since I got a $100 Steam gift card for Christmas. So far, here is my purchased list (I like survival games):

- This War of Mine
- ARK: Survival Evolved
- Cook, Serve, Delicious
I still have about $10 - $15 bucks to spend. If anyone has any recommendations based on my list (top three so far are The Forest, This War of Mine and The Talos Principle) I would appreciate it. I am pretty sure I am going to get Portal 2. I had it for 360 when it came out but I have read about the mods for it and they seem like reason enough to drop $3 or $4 on it.

Even tho... I'm currently sporting a super old 400dpi (I think? it was the only number I've found looking around) Logitech optical mouse, that I've been using for more than 10 years (like, since before WoW, my god).
I should change it, I guess.

Check out Mionix, Steel series, Logitech, Corsaor, and Zowie. It's difficult to recommend a specific mouse since it's all about your hand size and how you grip it, bit those manufacturers tend to have good build quality and sensors.
I've actually owned quite a few mice since I'm very tall and have huge hands, so I've spent a lot of time finding a mouse that fits well in my hand.
Ubisoft/ Bethesda likely scheduled those discounts individually before hand.
