SteamGAF just shot themselves in the foot.
I don't know how much the rest of you know about SteamGAF culture (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in Gaming General where you can become successful by being an asshole. If you screw someone over in SteamGAF, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.
What this means is the gaming general public, after hearing about this, is not going to want to join us on the community side, nor will they purchase any of Steam's games and not play them. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but SteamGAF has alienated an entire audience with this move.
MRORANGE, publicly apologize and cancel the SteamGAF January 2016 community thread, or you can kiss your community goodbye.

Win 10 works fine for me, some of the different resolution options act wonky for whatever reason on the inventory screen though. Running upscaled 2715x1527 on a mobile GPU at 60Hz, no issues.

I played on Windows 7, but I took advantage of two patches to the game's .exe I alternated between.

Also set the game to use only one core I recall, though didn't need too personally.
I got it to run no problem, but crashed at two bits I used another patch to bypass. But if need more help, I can dig further.

The only thing I purchased during the sale was Assassin's Creed Rogue for $16, and I'm glad I did. I was also gifted a few great games such as Aviary Attorney, Lisa, Forced, and Tales of Zestiria. I was saving back most of my "sales budget" to put towards buying a new graphics card. I'm leaning towards a 390x.
2016 is going to be a great year for PC gaming. And I can't wait to see how everyone votes in the SteamGAF GOTY this year.

Rogue? It was one of the few "daily deal" games (discount only active for 2 days, I think) Ubisoft pulled with their typical bullshit. The base game was $12 but I felt like splurging for the $16 version with all the DLC.

Damn GTA and Fallout 4 were monsters for Steam this year. Still great to see a Japanese game like MGSV right there at #3 tho.
