Ended up with

"Strange Fiction"
"Jeff Zero Cheesemeister"
"Infinite Bento~~"
"Bartup Kcip Sauna"
"Silph P.B Hater"
"Jobbs Ghostsong"
"Look At My Beard Go"
"Lucian Mad Catter"
"Lilith von Pale"

I'm happy with these for the moment.
I am honored.

I was biiiig into DBZ but the last anime I think I watch was Ninja Scroll, which was awesome.

Never got into Western cartoons, myself. Like... ever.

Tis quite odd, I admit.

I love me some Batman. It actually kind of annoys me that Superheros/comic movies got so popular cause it makes me just seem like a fanboy but I've been into Batman since the 80's.

The two girls who do acting on my game are both obsessed with this show. I still haven't seen it or know what the fuss is about.

It's starts off as a fairly standard western animated show but quickly goes off the deep end and ends up being a show with a deep mythology and pretty amazing world building. Characters are fully round and evolve as the show goes on.

It's a really decent show that only sometimes has weird as fuck humor. Think of the weird humor like as Fan Service because that's basically what it is but for American adolescents.

Also there are musical numbers. I love musicals.

I'll give it a shot. I'll be honest, though: the character design really turns me off.

The animation makes up for it at least.

Nice tats!

Here's a weird one: I watched it for the first time in 2015, haha.

Aww man, if you only knew the struggle and agony of one battle lasting like 10 episodes and getting so pissed when you heard the guy saying "NEXT TIME ON DRAGONBALL ZEEEEEEEE"

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

it's based on a comic book series, so good.

speaking of comic books...why is Terry Moore so amazing? currently reading "Echo", it's the tits..never saw one story by him I didn't enjoy.

Comics are new ground for me, too. I've read The Watchmen and V for Vendetta and a couple of b-tier tie-ins and that's it. I should check out Terry Moore, then?

The Cheese Girl story has mostly just proven that I need to take lessons on asking people out from Jeff. That was smooth, man.

Ghibli is definitely a good place to start. Ghost in the Shell, Gundam 00, Cowboy Bebop, there's a list here somewhere. Then there is the occasional lower-brow fight-to-solve-problems gig that I'll realize is actually fairly enjoyable to me. Hakusho, FMA. There are a few.
You should maybe try Samurai Champloo. The music and art is really cool.

Nujabes - Kujaku

And not in the show but an awesome song Nujabes - Latitude. This particular song sent me down a path for a few days, because I remembered the sample from Bjork's It's In Our Hands. Then found out that was just a sample as well from the Gigi Masin original, who I became a huge fan of as a result.

the trick is to not care what people think or be afriad of being turned down... which is a hell of a trick, but it's a skill you can develop.

The thing is, I'm even bad at going to gigs because I kind of know other people there but I freak out about having to talk to them. And these are people who I know are good cool people but I just straight up don't know how to talk to them.

To be fair, it is not like you have to think very hard about how to open the conversation.

Valid point. Continuing the conversation on the other hand...

Also on anime: One Punch Man motherfuckers.

I still remember the first time Goku went SSJ vs Frieza after Krillin got murked. It was such a big moment for me. I used to run home after school and record the shows on my VCR. I think I watched that episode like 1000 times.

My favorite episode is still when Gohan finally goes SSJ2 and effortlessly toys with and manhandles Cell. Sooo good.

good stuff, I have this on paperback.

I used to be much more tuned into comic stuff than now, though, being that I used to draw them, I tried to stay on top of things. Haven't really done the comics thing in a few years now.

Ha. My friends said the same thing.

I watched Kai, anyway, so I never even dealt with it in 2015. I cheated.

You should maybe try Samurai Champloo. The music and art is really cool.

Champloo is definitely on my list of good anime I've watched, yeah. It was a real treat overall.

Cool story, btw.

The Cheese Girl story has mostly just proven that I need to take lessons on asking people out from Jeff. That was smooth, man.

Haha. Gratzi.

Oh also, I was huge DBZ fanboy back as a kid, but I recently did an (almost) full run from OG DB to DBZ Kai and holy shit OG DB is so much better.

Also Japanese VA > American VA. YEAH I SAID IT.

Those are some of the greats you've got there, no question.

Find a way to get mononoke

I know where to get it, but first money. Should have been applying for jobs this week...

it is in my top three.

my top three: chihiro > mononoke > kaguya

http://www.amazon.de/dp/B00HTDZYNY/ I think amazon.de ships to the netherlands >>

It is on Amazon Uk too where I occasionally order. That one has higher delivery costs tho.

Usually I don't order movies and games from Amazon DE for fearing a lack of English subs or dub (with some games or movies). Also I want to have English boxarts.

The two girls who do acting on my game are both obsessed with this show. I still haven't seen it or know what the fuss is about.

I've seen a part of it but not much since it was a Dutch dub. Pretty fun tho.

Ah yes. That was a big moment as well. My first website I ever made was an angelfire website that was all just DBZ clips of people going SSJ.

Daaaaammnnn I remember going on those angelfire websites looking for pictures of DBZ to trace and take to middle school and say I drew myself lmao

Nujabes, I should import his albums when I have the money to spare. Too bad they are not available digital.

Well, wasn't a long conversation either.

One-punch man :3

Prefer OG Dragon Ball too, not sure if I could put up with the DBZ pacing nowadays. Kai might be better now, there are plenty of great elements to the show.

Thats hilarious, Im guilty of doing the same thing but for Mortal Kombat characters.

lmao thats awesome. I did it so much that I got to a point where I could draw their SSJ hair and faces flawlessly. I went through so much of my dad's computer paper and printer ink, i'm surprised he didn't kick my ass lol

So, thanks to autism, I had a panic attack in the court room and got excused.

You have autism? It's probably pretty mild since you seem to function well.

A lot of times people with autism are extremely good at something, too, since they really focus. One of the most productive artists I've ever met in my life was an autistic person. She could just endlessly toil away making pages and pages of illustrations.

I technically have autism. I have Asperger's.

Okay, this movie wasn't on my radar, now it is.

Hahahhahaha.

I want them to cut a trailer to fit that poster and show it in front of some sappy love story movie.

ooooo a fellow Strangers in Paradise lover? a rare find!
<3

I wish more people would read it but getting a collected edition is kinda hard these days.

I have the SiP Omnibus on my shelf but I don't read it because it's fairly rare unfortunately and I would never lend it to anyone because I don't wanna lose it :(

But ya, it was what got me into non-superhero books when I was a kid.

Anybody ever read Terry Moore's run on Runaways? I loved that book so much but then I got soured by Joss Whedon's run and didn't stay with it so I never read Moore's stuff.
