Are chrono cross and FF tactics worth it?

I already have CT on DS but never played it, and I never played a FF tactics game but I love FE Awakening and I hear it's similar.

This is why I made my Vita account a US one; dat 60 Hz PSOne gaming goodness ;P

The PSVita has a disc speed up option, use it to lower Chrono Trigger's loading times.
Otherwise it's the same SNES game except with loading times

BoF3 is only available on EU PSN, and is the PSP ver.
Sonty or Capcom haven't been publishing or releasing PSP games for a few years now, with only niche or small companies put them up.
Your guess as to why is as good as mine.
BoF4 is unavailable on EU PSN btw.
 
What state is Soul Calibur II in right now? When it came out I was hearing about issues with loading times, missing Japanese voices, and some attacks having different properties from them having used the PAL version for some reason. I'm not confident about the Japanese voices being patched in because I suspect that they were taken out in the first place because Heihachi's Japanese actor had died, but what about the rest?

Tactics PSOne has outdated translation but otherwise plays fine.
Chrono Cross is OK long as you don't treat it as a sequel to CT.
 
How do those Dino crisis games hold up today? I've never bitten when they've been on sale before but wouldn't mind giving them a go.
 
Probably get chrono cross since 3 dollars is a pretty good deal. Is infamous second son worth it? I enjoyed the first two but heard meh things about this one. Worth ten bucks?

It's not as good as Infamous 2, but then I think I like that one more than most people.

Still, it's a solid, interesting game with good mechanics and a cool cast. You can't go wrong with getting it for ten bucks.
 
Thanks to another thread I decided to finally pull the trigger on Xenogears. Really holds up well, I like it a lot. Got that 90's anime charm and the combat system is fun.
 
I'm starting to get pissed that these PS1 games aren't playable on PS4. There's no technical reason they can't be. At one point I would have bought a lot of these but now I'm very reluctant to do so since I know I'll probably never actually play them.
 
This sale is amazing. Will definitely pick up Chrono Chross and xenogears.

How likely is it that physical copies of danganronpa will get this cheap? Seems like they haven't gone on sale at all physically
 
i am really tempted by $8 for Tearaway
but i don't know , i played it on my friend on his Vita , i think it's level 4
all i have is to go and just platforming and some puzzle creating some art. i don't remember.

If you like the older RE games it's well worth checking into DC1. DC2 if you still can't get enough dinosaurs and want a change up to the gameplay since it's more actiony.
 
If you have a PS4 then you guys should buy the inFamous games. If you have a Vita then you should buy the Danganronpa games. PS3 owners should buy the Mega Man games and Devil May Cry 3.

Final Fantasy Tactics is legit one of the best tactical rpgs out there, if not one of the best games period. If FE even remotely resonated with you, you can't go wrong at that price point.
 
Definitely getting GTA PS2 Trilogy. $17.50 instead of $45 is a great deal, I was ready to pull the trigger at $10 a piece.

Probably would have gotten Parasite Eve and a few more PS1 classics, but I simply have no energy or willpower to play my Vita.
 
what's the file size on xenogears? Assuming that's the biggest one. I just want to know what size card I'm going to need when I get a vita.

Hive mind gaf is split with that and CT to the point where threads kinda turn to shit (except when talking about music) In my opinion its worth it, but dont expect Chrono Trigger, look at this as a side story and you'll be better for it imo. But BUY IT because it is good.

I actually think CT threads usually go pretty peacefully with an overwhelming majority agreeing it's a great game which it is. I've never considered GAF's view to be split regarding that game. Chrono Cross though, yeah, it's difficult to know where the consensus on that one is.
 
Some great deals here, already had most of them though >_>. I think this may be the first time Xenogears has been on sale here, I've been keeping an eye on that one and unless I missed it one week I've never seen it on sale. Wound up picking up Dino Crisis 1 + 2, Xenogears and Symphony of the Night for $8.40 with some Christmas gift cards. Lots of great stuff this week though.

I'm a newer ps4 owner, and at that price am considering it (although it is a bit more expensive in canada).

I'm also trying to find another PS4 game or two to bundle with it to use the 20% off code on...
