Anybody ever read Terry Moore's run on Runaways? I loved that book so much but then I got soured by Joss Whedon's run and didn't stay with it so I never read Moore's stuff.

I loved it. Was better than Whedon's stuff and it helped that Humberto Ramos was the artist for it.

Whedon's only good comic stuff was his Astonishing Xmen stuff and that was because Xmen sucked shit at the time.

Then Fraction did an Uncanny Xmen run and I was like 'ooh okay this is proper good stuff'.

oh he did? really need to check it out sometime then.
also reminds me to catch up with Out There :3

Haven't ready any Out There but going by your taste it's probably pretty good, I'll add it to my wishlist.

if you like Ramos you will like it too!
I also recommend Rachel Rising by Moore if you haven't read that already. man it's always great to meet someone who appreciates the good comic books apart from all the standard super hero stuff :>

I think i'm gonna have to stay at my mom's place tonight. This is the first winter that i've had to make a commute and there's no way i'm driving for an hour in whiteout conditions with nothing but more snow on the way tonight.

Stresses me out.

And then play The Wolf Among Us.

That's been ready and waiting in my library for a while actually, I could probably start playing it now considering last thing I remember was the end of the Dark Man arc.

I'll probably start playing it after I (eventually) finish Bloodborne, Life is Strange and ep 2 of King's Quest.

So much to catch up on and so little time to do it.

How is King's Quest? I bought the first episode but haven't touched it yet. I grew up on the series so there's a lot of affection there.

Ya Rachel Rising has been on my list for a minute, need to get into the store and pick it up but with all the shit going on in my life I haven't been able to update my pull list in forever.

And I think most people don't wanna try out the non-superhero stuff because it's too high a bar to ask. Stuff like Sweet Tooth and Chew are immediately interesting enough to get praise and sell some copies, Lumberjanes and Sex Criminals always have fantastic covers to help sell, but Terry Moore's non-superhero stuff (specifically SiP) was just hard to find because it was (mostly) self-published.

Anyway, everyone should read Lumberjanes.

How about you play Tales from the Borderlands before you start throwing recommendations, scrub?

Fuck, you got me. I've got it DLed on my PS4 and ready to play. I should stream it out.

I can't speak to the original series as I was alwayd a Space Quest and Lucasarts kid, but from what i remember I actuslly think it's better.

Well maybe not BETTER, but a special kind of different.

The puzzles aren't mind tearingly hard but the writing/dialogue has so much heart and the game essentially becomes a hybrid between a Don bluth animation and a Monty Python skit that I fell in love instantly.

I've only finished Episode 1 but man...totally on board with the season so far.

That sounds awesome! I'm really feeling like I need this type of game in my life now that Life is Strange is over.

hahahaahaahahaa

my boss and i are trying to find new things for me to do at the company as I'm trying desperately not to be put on "vacation!!!!!" again.

He suggests I handle the new backup server/PC that he's buying to replace the old one.

Then he tries to weasel out of it by asking "can we just use your PC?".

I got a job interview yaaaaaaaay

Aw yiss! What job position?
Schoolteacher, middle school. Language arts. :D

Might be too early to celebrate though... I didn't get the job yet, after all
