There's a site which basically has a built in virtual OS where you launch Netflix US and everyone in the chat room can watch and talk together.

Yeah, it's easier than ever to get into game development. That said, it's not "easy", and the standards for good indie games goes up all the time. Jobbs, Fengshui, Absinthe, Wuvcraft and I have each been at this for several years (tinkering behind the scenes, for the most part), so it's a bit silly to expect quick results.
