The Witness - Release Date Trailer, coming 26th January 2016

I'm in love with the use of color and shading in that game.

Would it be crazy to just have that game running, not move the character at all, and just treat it like a painting?

Hey guys im setting money aside for my Rift preorder, is this game expected to have VR support, if not at launch maybe down the line? Because this would be so perfect and it'd probably not be too difficult to run at 90fps.

Blow has said that they MAY add PSVR support sometime after PSVR launches. I'd assume the same is true for Rift and Vive.

Thanks, glad he at least has it on his mind, it'd be a waste not to with this kind of game. That said I hope it could be possible to get VR support released on PC for the Rift before PSVR is out so I don't have to wait as long...

I'm pretty sure it's going to be full price at 59.99. Just a hunch but it wouldn't shock me

The game is massive

I think full price for this game would be a mistake. The Witness won't be viewed as "AAA" by a large majority of potential PS4/PC buyers. Despite it being a very large and seemingly very well-crafted game, I just don't think the market has an appetite for a puzzle game at what is perceived to be "AAA" pricing. I mean hell, there was plenty of push-back when Valve charged $50 for Portal 2, and that was from one of the most revered and trusted developers in the industry on a sequel to one of the most universally acclaimed games in the last 10 years. And P2 even had several different modes (including level creation tools) to justify its purchase price.

$40 or less is my hope and/or plea.

Nah, Adult Swim's line up was fantastic. Especially Rain World, that game is doing ground-breaking things with AI
Some new indies were great man, including the one you listed. Hob looks incredible! I saw some others that were wasting, because it felt like 25-30% of the games looked like complete garbage. They could have easily removed those and added games like Tomorrow Children, The Witness, Alienation,
WTF is Rime
, Abzu, etc. That would have made it an A level showing, only beaten by the amazing E3 trailer. It had content and potential content to be an amazing show. I've enjoyed for the most part every show, and this had one had great moments. To me, it just looked like the person responsible organized it very poorly.

He said it wasl ike 80-100 hours of gameplay right?

20-30 hours for most people's first run. 80-100 was an estimate to 100% the game, which is hard to quantify because some puzzles could be incredibly obscure.

I've also interpreted the 80-100 hour figure to mean something like you could wander around and still notice something new after 80 hours, not necessarily that there is 80 hours of WHITE KNUCKLED NON-STOP CONTENT. Obviously he was able to get through it all in 7 hours or whatever so someone coming to the game after everything is found and uses a guide won't take 100 hours to 100%
