Harley is apparently wearing at least around 8 outfits in this movie. Including the classic Batman animated series outfit.
We ain't ready.

Source, NOW!!!!! DON'T DO THIS TO ME!!!!!

*breathes in & out heavily*

Anyway, I know I may be late on this, but we're getting a series of Suicide Squad statues.

I guess Katana & Killer Croc are gonna live since they were amongst the first 6 statues announced. Kinda lines up with that one image of the 6 I was guessing would survive the movie sans Joker (Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Katana, Killer Croc, Captain Boomerang, & Rick Flag).

Urgh, I hate the classic TAS outfit. It works so well in the DCAU, but it's such a hideous outfit otherwise.

But if we're getting a large variety of outfits, I think I wouldn't be able to complain!

I wonder if the cast drew that graffiti at the end of the trailer because some of those drawings looks like the weird doodles Jared puts on his snapchats

I was watching this again but noticed YouTube is filled with people recording their reaction. Wtf is that about. Why do I want to watch your stupid reaction to a trailer.

Still amazing trailer!

While I don't think I'll ever be a fan of the tatoos, Joker's grill has really grown on me, especially if they go with the idea that Batman has been knocking his teeth out for years at this point.

I think Leto's laugh may be my favorite outside of Hamill's, sounds like a cackling old witch.

Does anyone else think the movie should be rated R? I think suicide squad works best when it embraces its silly, over the top violent source material

It's not like R rated movies never make a lot of money. The Matrix did amazing numbers.

I wish it was too, but DC likes merch money, see they're already releasing statues. They said it was a "hard PG-13" at least.

Sure, but they need to get the 13-16 Hot Topic demo.
The Joker having no eyebrows adds to the scary factor. I love it.
It's cool because it emphasizes the crazy eyes, smile, and inhuman nature of him. If the movie sucks at least Leto will rock (probably).

I mean does adding over the top gore and heavy cursing really improve the movie all that much? The classic Ostrander Suicide Squad didnt need any of that

Tbpf, Ostrander's run wasn't at all graphic. It's not something I'd call necessary to the source material, you could get away with more or less all of it on basic cable.

This movie, though, would probably benefit from a rating bump. Fingers crossed for unrated edition :D

An R rating would be crazy interesting, but that's just too much money to leave on the table. Not gonna happen.

Just noticed this already has more views than the last Batman v Superman trailer. The hype is real.
While this trailer's definitely more hype, something wonky happened to youtube shortly after the last BvS one released. Views weren't counting for like an entire day or two.

Link is dead, noooooooo.

What was in it? What was the theory?
It was just kinda putting the clips from the trailers and set video in order with textual info. Started with the photo Joker and Harley doing a therapy session in Arkham where he's in the straight jacket. then shows his goons shooting up Arkham, freeing him. Shows the scene of Harley being strapped to the chair and Joker smashing something in the other room. It shows the clips of him walking in, grabbing her face, shining the light on her and getting the electroshock paddles. Then it assumes Johnny Frost gives him his jacket as it shows the scene of Joker wagging his finger in the trailer, with what looks like the same Arkham breakout scene with dead bodies in the background. It assumes Harley has gone crazy from the electroshock treatment and might be trying to follow him, thus the finger wag, he leaves without her.

Time passes and it shows set video of when Harley chased him down on her motorcycle and makes him get out of his car. That whole situation goes down where and she ends up getting in the car with him. She's wearing the blue button up and he has the burgundy button up underneath his jacket, same clothes from the ace chemicals scene so he presumably takes her there, it shows the clip of him diving in after her and the colors of their clothes bleeding in.

Then time passes and it shows all the clips of the party scene where you see Harley dancing on the pole, with Joker, and pretending to shoot everyone. Maybe they do a dance scene and kill everyone and/or Batman just comes in and breaks the scene, they ditch in his car, they're wearing the same clothes in the batman car chase scene as in the dance scene. It assumes this is where Harley gets captured by Batman, Joker must get away.

Then time passes to present day and it shows clips from the trailers of the helicopters. Johnny Frost is shooting the chain gun and Joker shooting his golden AK next to him. It shows clips from the cockpit of one of the helicopters getting bullets shot at it and going down, then the clips of it crashing - assumes it's one of the Squad's helicopters in present day because in an interview a while back it was said that Killer Croc throws up a goat leg while riding on a Chinook. Then it shows the clip near the end of the trailer of Harley smiling, taking off her jacket and jumping onto a rope, theory suggests it may be coming from Jokers helicopter.

edit: Here's a re-upload with shortened set scene - https://vid.me/MNIO

So what is exactly going on in this picture again?

Some kind of odd magical/high science armor that can be controlled to extend into weapons, it appears to fuck up the molecular structure of anything it hits turning it into weird sharp liquidy glassy goop.

Some people think it's the tattooed man, others think it's the joker.

But no on one really knows da fuq it is.

I think the joker gets ahold of something extremely powerful from the supernatural realm or something very alien, it makes sense because there is so much joker in the movie (way too much for simple harley backstory) it would make perfect sense that he's the big bad of this flick.

Also makes sense why the color of the shit coming off of his body is green....
