edit: Although I don't think they had a clear direction for the gameplay until about 2011, and it's continued to change up until 6 months ago.

It tells me that we'll at least get to play through some bigger historical moments in XV as opposed to just an extended cut scene. Maybe even that his childhood plays far more into the events of the main game than we even realize now.

The stealth, assigning specific actions to party members, magic, etc. don't remind me of Kingdom Hearts at all. And that's the new stuff shown off today.

Noctis does have that kind of movement I suppose, but he was like that before since the CG trailers.
