Yes I know more about certain shit than I'm supposed to, certain things like Sasuke's story I don't know a god damn thing about, but I already know Hinata and Naruto hook up. I also already know Sakura loses the great titay war to Hinata as well. God I can't wait to see Sakura when she finds that shit out. Just seeing the fact that Kishi owned up to not knowing how to write the Naruto Hinata ship makes me just wish that he co wrote those parts with someone instead of moving full steam ahead and shitting the bed the way that he's doing. To address my claims about Naruto being childish, I do know that he's grown up...a lot since part 1, but I feel that's he's only grown up in the regard of fighting and realizing just how important the time he spent with Jiraiya was, as well as other personal relationships. The scene with him teaching Konohamaru the Rasengan was a great moment to show this actually. He loved that pervy motherfucker and when he popped up in sage mode I could tell that was a moment used to show that he's trying to be more like Jiraiya now. I just think it's weird how he treats his original bonds. I'm not telling him to stop caring about Sakura, I just think it's time he puts some effort into bringing Hinata into his life some more, which is all I honestly want to see from the dude, the pacing for this ship is fucking god awful. Even Asuma made some time to get Kurenai some god damn flowers before he died, I haven't seen Naruto do shit for Hinata yet. The fact that after the Chunin exams he shrugged off her, "I never back down, cause that's my Nindo way" speech is still annoying. And hearing how her attempted sacrifice still doesn't resonate with him is still going to annoy me even though I already know about it. Sakura doesn't use her feelings for him as a source of strength the way that Hinata does and I really haven't seen her do anything to protect Naruto since she tried to fight off those Sound Ninjas in part one and even that was partly self preservation on her part. I always see the difference with how Hinata acts for him with her self determination is that she does it for him, not for any other reason, she's doing it to prove herself to Naruto, meanwhile with Naruto everything he used to do was to prove himself to other people like Neji or Kiba or Sasuke. I don't think Naruto's ever had that kind of relationship with somebody. Hinata wants to let Naruto know that she's good enough for him, she looks up to him, I don't think anybody on this show has looked up to him (minus Gaara now that I think about it) and it's not the same as the rivalry relationship that he has with Sasuke. I guess I'm just waiting for Naruto to realize that he and Hinata are a lot alike, but that's not the way the show is written.
I can't wait to see this Hinata:
