I'm honestly just at the point where I think the love triangle plot line has reached it's natural conclusion, it's not even written well. Hinata should've hit Sakura with a 64 Palm attack while screaming "bitch get the fuck off my man!!" but nope nothing. I'm not even blaming Sakura for this, I'm blaming Hinata. Her sacrifice was like clubbing a baby seal only to not use the pelt for clothing, it was fucking useless.
Sasuke and Naruto are not Guts in Griffith. Griffith believed Guts to be his bae, "you're mine" Sasuke and Naruto never had possessive Yandere moments.

Ehh they don't have a bromance. Its more of a budding rivalry. And actually in the Anime there is alot of filler with Sasuke/Naruto before he left. The reason they needed flashbacks is because of how long of a break they took between the sasuke versus naruto stuff when all the other arcs started happened.
He stole one from one of the clans most gifted members and one of Itachis mentors/friends, Shisui. This is largely overlooked but there is a nice filler about it.

Holy shit lol. I think I went back to my first post. And well it took me a little over a month to go full on salty. And that was while skipping filler hell and I haven't even hit the dumber parts of this series. So far the only Shounen show I've seen where the woman gets no focus is Jojo. Keiko isn't really a large portion of YYH, but it's quite evident that Yusuke cares for her, a lot actually and he does show it when he actually has to. Same goes for FMA. Even Kenshin and Kaoru don't get fucked over like this? Why is "This is a Shounen manga" such a valid excuse for Naruto?

I met that crazy ass woman this morning actually. I actually like Temari and Shikamaru, Temari's just rarely on the damn show. She's my favorite, please tell me she doesn't get fucked over like Shizune? That shit was just cruel. I think when it comes to Jiraiya and Tsunade they knew a long time ago that a relationship between them was just never going to work. They like each other, but they were just never going to try to pursue anything.
I have noticed that during that "engagement" "Shut up or you die" bit. How many characters does Steven Jay Blum play? It's like Viz had his ass on speed dial.
I like shikamaru and temari. Its never mentioned, but you always just knew something was going on. They are way too cool to show it though. They fit each other.
I honestly wish there was a filler guide that tells me who is in what filler episode.
I think I got a pretty good bead on those two in Part 1 when Temari saves his ass during the save Sasuke arc.
Given how he treats them that's not too hard. But Tsunade cares a lot about the village and I loved Tsunade in her introductory arc.
I'm glad whoever plans these fillers are fans of Tenten and Shino.
No love for Shizune though.

Honestly there was mutual respect. It took a while but Sasuke definitely noticed Naruto. He respected Naruto enough to gauge himself against him. That panel in the chuunin exam where Sasuke told Naruto that all the strong fighters are here and he's one of the ones that he wants to fight the most probably meant more to Naruto than anything else that's happened in his childhood.
Naruto is Guts and Sasuke is Griffith, just minus the depth and the Yandere moments. They bring out the best in each other, Sasuke's just too goal driven to stop being a revenge machine to chill out and lead a simple life with his friends. Sasuke honestly could've had the perfect life in Konoha. He'd have the girl, he'd have his best friend and he'd have his respect. He just wanted to fulfill whatever journey he thought he needed to do for revenge. I honestly think Sasuke's quest was in the long run the last thing Itachi wanted of him.
