Final Fantasy XV release date reveal on March 30th in 6300 cp theater by Kinda Funny

Can someone answer my question pls :( I really want to know how tickets will be handled because I need to know for my friend who'll be at work when tickets are up.

Wonder if we'll see the cover art. Then again it'll just be a CG render of Noctis, chin down, eyes up.

Pretty sure we'll see it, and yeah that'll most likely be the cover art. I just hope it actually looks good, I thought both XII and XIII's cover art were fugly. XII's felt too cluttered (and they used the ugly art of Ashe), and XIII's cover was just ugly because it was one of the worst CG artworks of Lightning.

On a serious note, I was really hoping her design would have changed before the game comes out.

I suppose it won't.

If there's a full house color me surprised. Claim your pass like Johnny said.

I mean, it's a mainline Final Fantasy title, the event is in LA, and it's one of the biggest releases of the year. I really don't know if it'll sell out in 2 seconds or if it'll never even come close to reaching maximum capacity. I'm just worried for one of my friends, who wants to come with us, but has work when the tickets are available.

Wonder if Square will invite and fly over European/Japanese press again or only allow American press who register themselves.

They invited the German Rocketbeans team (24/7 Twitch gaming/talk shows/etc channel) to the event for live coverage. They're doing a "Long night of Final Fantasy" stream on that night (the actual FFXV stage show is at 4AM German time unfortunately).

One of the Rocketbeans guys (Gregor - https://twitter.com/chaz_ashley) also did a "live" playthrough of Episode Duscae for the gamescom stage shows:

I thought they covered the event from Germany, are they traveling to the US for it? Neat.

Tickets available in 2 hours by the way, not sure how many or how fast they sell out, but for those wanting to go, keep an eye out.

Hmm, now I'm not so sure anymore. On the official FB banner it said "Live aus Hamburg und Hollywood" and I thought that meant some of them report live from the main stage event at 4AM while the others at home (in Hamburg) do the Twitch live show before that starts at 9PM. But I haven't seen any official details. We'll see.

When I clicked the link right now it said 6 hours from now tickets are available?

Can we talk about how Tabata teased in an earlier ATR there would be an announcement that no one would expect in March, and he seems to hint at that in the latest ATR again:

There was also the rumor that Visual Works was doing a FFXV prequel movie and I wonder if it's related to that, seems like they have a big reveal in store for the event aside from the usual Collector's Edition and release date.

I could definitely see the rumor be true. Wouldn't be that unrealistic. Why let all these assets go to waste. Make a 90min movie out of it. Doesn't have to be a theatrical release. Sell it online, DVD release or include the movie in the Limited/Collector's Edition.

Tabata was also hinting at some sidestories of the characters in last year's TGS ATR Q&A when someone asked this:

If not a full-length movie, maybe short films of certain episodes of the bros' lives.

I really think about getting the Collectors! And I do hope that they incorporated the Air-Ship in the game. After all there is enough time and Avalanche should have made it quite easier for them

In other words it would amount to his own little advent children movie. Tabata is certainly trying to best his senpai in all matters.

I don't think the airship is just about time. Avalanche designs their game from the start to allow stuff like that. It's pretty clear that FFXV wasn't being designed with airships in mind. So trying to retool a game engine to work with an airship isn't going to be easy.

Yes I agree with you, but at the time of their announcement I think it will be well beyond a year when the game is released. So in that time-frame I dont find it impossible to incorporate flying above the city!

Im not saying its easy or that it's gonna happen in time for the Launch of the game, but I dont it find absurd at this point!
