I want to see this Super Bowl victory so badly.

You and me both brother!

Yeah man, I know this feel well. Before both the Seattle and Arizona games I had incredible feelings of fear and dread, thinking for sure we were going to blow it because historically that's what the Panthers always do. I still have a little of this feeling going into Sunday because anything can happen in a Super Bowl, but being in the stadium for the NFC championship game showed me this team and this franchise has taken the next step. They are truly a juggernaut this season. It's not like the 96-97 and 03-04 runs where I feel the team just got hot and was playing with house money. This team is something special and I really do think this the time. Either way, I'm enjoying this fucking ride. RAWRRAWR

I totally agree, but in a one game scenario the unexpected can and sometimes does happen. I know this team is tough as nails, deeper than any other 53 in the league, and is really the bully of the whole league this season, but that provides no comfort until the clock hits 0:00 with the Panthers having more points than the Broncos.

Having the best team in the league without the Lombardi would be little consolation. Don't get me wrong, this is a great season however tomorrow plays out, but the Panthers need to put an exclamation point on this great season, not a question mark.

The thing I think really gives us the edge goes beyond X's and O's though. This team really seems like they love each other and are a big happy family that loves to go out and have fun together every week. That type of camaraderie can't be underestimated. This incarnation of the Panthers is the epitome of the word TEAM, and that's a big deal imo.

I know what I'll be drinking. Sweet, sweet Carolina Cheerwine. GOAT soda.

Mixed with vodka.
Idk who you are. But i like you.

I dont normally drink soda, but when i do... its a cheerwine. Shit carolinians know about real well.

Believe in Bork the god

Can't believe it's finally tonight, shit took forever to come.

Will Peyton's goons be at the game tonight? Lol his pr or idk who they are went to the house of the guy that leaked the HDH story and made him retract it

My plan is now to get a few local beers from Colorado and North Carolina for this evening.

No Papa Johns or Greek yogurt though.

Will the CBS official stream play commercials?

Super Bowl games have been streamed online since 2012, usually on the site of whichever channel has broadcast rights. But there will be at least one significant change for the Super Bowl this year: National ads accompanying the game will be live-streamed along with the main attraction for the first time, according to Variety.

Don’t have a TV? You can still watch the biggest event of the year online: CBS plans to live stream Super Bowl 50 on its website for free:

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/superbowl/live/player

The Panthers and Broncos will kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday with CBS’ pregame coverage starting at 2 p.m. ET across all platforms.

The CBS Sports app will also stream the Super Bowl for users of Roku, Apple TV (third- and four-generation models only), Google Chromecast, Microsoft’s Xbox One, Amazon Fire TV and Android TV models from Sony, Sharp and Phillips.

Live-streaming on mobile devices is available only for Verizon Wireless customers through the NFL Mobile app.

Searched and didn't find much: Is the NFL app on the xbox one going to have any cool features that over lay the game or add to it? I downloaded it a while ago but never used it. I get cable but thinking about streaming it if it's a better experience

I'm ready for this. I'm not an American, but I'll be up at 11pm with my drinks and pork rinds watching this, as I do every year without fail. I'm putting my bets on the Broncos to take this one home.

This was at my local Chick-fil-A on Friday...

As a big Panther fan in South Carolina from the very start, I went to their first home game in Clemson, I couldn't be more excited. This has been an amazing season, and watching this game is gonna be amazing. It's even better that it is at Super Bowl 50! I just hate how Atlanta gave us that one loss, ugh.

If all the rumors are true. This is going to be like a home game for the Broncos. Apparently the ratio is like 80 Broncos fans to 1 panthers fan

It's the Super Bowl, "home crowd" isn't really a factor. 80% of the people in attendance are there to say they went and could give two shits about the actual game.

This.

The ticket prices priced out 90% of legit fans.

That being said, it doesn't really surprise that the majority of the people of the game are wearing Broncos jerseys. You're talking about a much more established fanbase that is WAY closer to the host city.

crowd will be loud for the first snap/drive , doesn't matter which team starts

the rich are there to watch, they don't give a shit who wins, all about "i was there at superbowl 50" , crowd will get loud towards the end of the game too

Dawn of the Final Day...

I'm finding it tough to get excited. I feel like I'm waiting to watch a horrible car wreck...

Is there going to be a thread for the trailers/teasers/commercials? Not really interested in the match, only watching it for the potential movie trailers/teasers heh.

Probably not.

This particular thread will probably have more talking about the extracurriculars of the game (commercials, anthem, half-time show) than the actual football itself though.

As an Eagles fan (I know) but with in-laws in Colorado, I'm going with hoping the Broncos will pull it out. But.........

I take the +5.5 with Denver, cause I think Carolina wins outright.

27-24 Panthers.

The hype is way too much for the Panthers. I'm convinced there is no way they can possibly win. So yeah, my bet is on it being a low scoring game with Manning going off into the sunset with a win.

Got my chips and my dips ready....hopefully there is some left before the game starts.

We have free tickets to the Renn Faire in town and when I mentioned that today is the last day to go, the people gathering at my in laws place for the party had a damn fit. "Ugly chicks in costumes over the big fucking game? Jesus christ, you're 36, grow up, grab a beer and watch the game.".

*rolls eyes*

I'm probably going to just grab a beer and say fuck it. :p

I can't watch the game because I want Peyton to win it, even though Fuck the Broncos, but Carolina is gonna win it so I'll just be bummed out.
