AP seems to have the most up to date numbers. 10% with 22% reported.

Ok, that link is great. Look how Gilmore stacks up against, well, others, haha...

Paul, Rand GOP 315 1%
Witz, Richard GOP 95 0%
Robinson, Joe GOP 94 0%
Martin, Andy GOP 38 0%
Huckabee, Mike GOP 36 0%
Santorum, Rick GOP 34 0%

Cullison, Brooks GOP 22 0%
Gilmore, Jim GOP 22 0%
Graham, Lindsey GOP 13 0%
Lynch, Frank GOP 9 0%
Jindal, Bobby GOP 8 0%

Most news outlets are clearly backing Clinton so it's not really surprising.

To the point where every article about her is how she is doing so poorly.

Let's be real here the media is just out for ratings. Despite the endorsements they're on no one's side but their own because they ultimately don't really care who's in the white house.

It's going to be another McGovern if this goes on. Thankfully the Republicans have no Nixon to counter with.

I've said this before. Bernie has been running since summer and is the ONLY other democratic candidate. The insistence that Black voters somehow don't own televisions or radios, don't use facebook, and are somehow more ignorant or ill informed than white voters who are "feeling the bern" isn't just insulting its borderline if not outright racist.

Yeah its really annoying. In fact the entire messaging with regards to minorities both within the Sanders campaign and by some of his supporters has been off-putting to various degrees.

You're not entirely wrong, but you could argue that Obama was likely to lose NH for the same reason that Bernie was likely to win it. At the very least, this proves that the campaign is viable, but the real test will probably be SC.

No doubt about that, and being in SC I have a close eye on both him and Trump to see how they both do here.

And you don't think leveling the economic playing field for minorities would do wonders for improving their quality of life?

It does nothing to attack the racial components of institutional injustices ingrained within most facets of our society.

A more livable minimum wage, healthcare and free college isn't going to do anything stop minorities from having their job applications disregarded because their name sounds ethnic. Free college isn't going to do anything to highly selective schools who conveniently have disgustingly low minority enrollment, although deserving applicants already exist. It's not going to do anything about minority students in grade school being punished more harshly than their white peers. A 'Rising Tide Lifts All' mentality isn't going to change the economic discrepancy between whites and minorities. It's not going to change the fact that minorities get paid less for doing the same work in many professions. It's not going to change the fact that minorities have less of a chance for being promoted through the ranks within a respective company. It's not going to change the differences between inner city schools, and their non-poverished counterparts. It's not going to change the differences in media portrayal between minorities and their white constituents for the same issues.

A lot of issues facing minorities are the result of institutional racism, and no amount of catch all economic plans is going to change that.

CNN, the GOP race is not tight for 2nd, Kasich has that. Why the misleading narrative? If anything, the NH race is tight for 3rd.

Goddamn this election cycle has been fun

Berns making it interesting on the dem side and the republican race is a clown fiesta

Obama should come out and back Sanders. That could help a lot.

Well that would be awkward, given Hillary is gonna get the nom.

so bernie just whomped cliniton, coronation be damned.

was this expected given his ties to the northeast?

More than expected. Iowa and NH are among his top 3 states in the country. He's lucky they came first otherwise he'd be buried long before the primaries even got started.

please please make cruz come in 4th

decent chance he could take third at this rate. Cruz overperforming.

so bernie just whomped cliniton, coronation be damned.

was this expected given his ties to the northeast?

long since expected. hes led by double digits for months. New Hampshire is home territory for sanders, vermont and new hampshire are demographically similar and share a media market.

No doubt about that, and being in SC I have a close eye on both him and Trump to see how they both do here.

If the margin is ten or under with a Clinton victory there's a very real chance that the Bernie movement has merit. Until then I remain skeptical that he can maintain the margins he has.

If it's seriously within ten, or he eeks out a small Nevada win, Super Tuesday becomes very interesting on the Dem side.

I'm pleasantly surprised with Kasich's performance tonight. It shows that there are some sane members of the GOP. Hopefully by the morning we'll have seen Carson accept that his presidential ambitions are at an end and bow out. Fiorina too.

As for Marcobot, LOL!
I think NH has saner republicans

And the top 1% are already paying close to half of all federal income tax. In any case, it's not even close to what most republicans want to do. Most want to reduce tax on the rich and do nothing for the poor and middle class. He wants to lower it for everyone. And don't forget, lowering the tax by 5% helps the poor more than it helps the rich. So the poor are still getting the better end of that deal.

The top 1% currently own about 40% of the country's wealth, and pay about 50% of the country's federal income tax. Sounds fair and like it's working as intended to me.

It sounds like you want the rich to pay more just because you're pissed off at them and you don't think people should have wealth. I mean, whatever, apparently that's a thing that real people believe, but we're just going to have to agree to disagree about it.

The assumption you're making here is that the most "fair" system is one in which one pays taxes proportional to one's wealth, i.e., if a group owns roughly 40% of the wealth, they should pay roughly 40% of the income taxes. But that's certainly not the only way to look at it. If you look at it from the standpoint of how much the taxes impact one's life, then there's an argument for the tax code to be more progressive given the declining marginal utility of money.

Obama should come out and back Sanders. That could help a lot.

Isn't it an unwritten convention that sitting presidents don't back a candidate until they've secured the nomination, like what Bush did with McCain? Besides, Obama might actually privately prefer Clinton over Sanders.

It was known he would win, the question was by how much. Despite all of the "blowout" posts this is actually pretty middle of the road so far: if he won by 10% she was looking good, if he won by 30% it meant he was a serious threat, the current 18% number just says to me that we have a long way to go still

I still believe a fusion would be the perfect solution.

Congrats to my man Bernie. We all knew he was going to win but it's still nice to see. Hopefully the momentum continues.

Sort of surprised at Trump winning though. I thought his star was finally fading but apparently not.
