The "bully role" got taken by Trump. The man had no niche to fill. I kind of got annoyed by his fixation on his waifu Clinton. Clinton this, Clinton that. You gotta beat your fellow Republicans before you take on Clinton dude.

Both wins were expected, and for Sanders New Hampshire always projected to be one of his best states (since he's from the neighboring state).

Sanders still needs to prove that he can do better in more diverse states (Nevada and South Carolina will tell the story on this). Trump won big, but he only got a third of the vote. There's a real question as to how well he can do once the field shrinks. You can win states with 34% of the vote when there are 9 candidates running. That won't be the case when there's three.

Dem Caucus - Feb 20th - Nevada
GOP Primary - Feb 20th - South Carolina & Washington (caucus)

Dem Primary - Feb 27th - South Carolina

Well Trump wins basically vindicate the fact we already know, which is that he is leading everywhere. Sanders still has an uphill fight, so this doesn't mean too much.

People here tend to be really finicky. Rubio got third place and people completely forgot how horrible he was at being a politician.

For Sanders, it shouldn't. It was expected for him to win NH comfortably.

The big question mark is what happens after, and I doubt he has enough votes to be the Democratic nominee.

He won NH by "a LOT" though, and there hasn't been a SC poll in almost a month.
 
i haven't been following this much .. why is it that bernie doesn't poll well with black voters while hillary does? from listening to the talking heads that seems to be her advantage. why is that?

You would be correct, this was pretty expected considering the geographical proximity to both. South Carolina and Nevada are where things get interesting.
 
Haha I just realised I dropped Flash/Arrow and Gotham so I had time to watch these debates/turn outs. I guess it's the best entertainment.

That neighboring state crap is bs made up by the Clintons. It didn't have nearly as big an impact as they're saying.

He thinks Reagan Democrats will vote for him if he's himself. If he doesn't think that, ask yourself why he's even running for President. If he was tuned into reality he'd see that he has 0 chance of winning the primary and 0 chance of winning the presidency even if he was handed the nomination.

But he doesn't see that. Because he believes he is right... and that a super powered man in the sky is guiding him. He repeatedly makes moves that only hurt him politically... that achieve nothing positive... and he stands by them. Because he is evangelical in his political positions as he is in his religious ones. Certain things are wrong. Certain things are ungodly. God will not let his favorite country of the USA go in the wrong direction.

He doesn't think moderates stay home when a Republican is ultra conservative.

Great gif btw but was the guy I was responding to shit posting also? He said the exact same thing I did. There was literally no difference at all except I said it about Bernie and he said it about Trump. I think Bernie is insane because nothing he says he wants will happen and he thinks the same about Trump so save the accusations.

I'm kind of happy to see Bernie crushing Hillary like this tonight. I hate the way they campaign when things get rough. They get so petty and nasty. The way they've been attacking Bernie has been sleezy at best. Bill Clinton and other Hillary supporters seem to get so petty and insulting of voters that support Dem candidates that are creating problems for Hillary, and it isn't a good look at all.

In that case why go overwhelmingly Liberal? If the vote is split the parties can still gang up and stop Conservatives if they get a minority. Hell they could even form a coalition with NDP if that were the case.
 
What is funny about the whole democratic process is that Hillary and burning will be tied delegate wise coming out of your answer telling it was because she gets all the super delegates currently. Politico has them tied due to this fact.

Hot damn, choosing not to vote for someone just because how much of a cluster fuck Congress is and how unlikely legislation would pass has to be one of the saddest and weakest developments out of this election cycle. Just pack it up.

Strategic. Voting. That's why. Nobody wanted the Conservatives and nobody wanted them to walk in because of a split vote and Mulclair was incredibly unlikable in every debate and appearance.
