I used the option on SF4 (With a PS4 stick in PS3 mode because I wanted to use a touchpad) and I just left the controller on and played. I just left the thing plugged in and had no issues.

It doesn't look like we can crossplatform-invite players (crossinvite?) But luckily we should be able to call/text/whatsapp/etc. our friends to join "Player's Lobby"
I think you're right. I've watched a few of the stories now and most of the characters in still shots seems to be wearing their alts

That art is god awful for a triple A game. Looks like it took about 15 minutes in Flash or something.

I'm ok with the 1v1 lobby to start with as I'd like to do more playing than watching when the game first drops. Hopefully it comes soon though.

Yes I know that, but that still doesn't clear my doubts if I'll be able to create a lobby on my PC, then send an invite to my PS4 friends. With how bare bones the Battle Lounge is, I don't think we'll be able to send invites via CFN, at least at launch.
I play other fighting games. I'm not into folks just getting away with shit because " Its this game come on , its this game"

If I were to hazard a guess, they'd probably do it through SFV's own network/account service, CFN. That is assuming that it is possible to invite crossplatform.
