Higher bullet magnetism than the base H5 BR does not make the gun 'broken'. That's the point of the gun, it shoots and fires like it did in H2. Just like when the CE pistol comes, we'll get something that will probably be much harder to aim but will possibly give us 3sk headshots if we nail it. Who knows.
It breaks up the sheer monotony of the game and that's a good thing. H2 BR fun as hell to use in H5 the few times I've been able to. A weekend of it on custom maps, yes please. Would beat snipers on fathom or Pegasus again for sure.

Aim assist? You don't even have to have the crosshair on the person and the bullets will magnetize to them.
But you're right, it's a weekend playlist, so just have fun with it.

So you mean to tell me, the 'Halo 2 BR' fires exactly like the Halo 2 BR? That's the point. It has higher bullet magnetism because it's meant to replicate how it fired.
I mean the gun is available in exactly one map in Arena, in one area. It's also a legendary mythic weapon for Warzone use. Don't understand the OP part? Is it easier to shoot with relative to the H5 BR? Yes. But it also has a slightly higher TTK.
I mean I don't understand the complaints. Is it because you don't want to use the weapon? Because if all you want is the H5 BR, then they would just have you use Halo 5 Classic Scope BR.

No man, I want to use the gun, but you said it wasn't broken and it just had more aim assist, what's incorrect. I was just correcting you, not saying that I don't want to use the weapon or that I think it shouldn't be included as a pick up weapon on Arena.

Because of the magnetism, the gun does most of the work for you. If anyone is complaining it would be about that. I am not going to complain about it, I just thought it was nuts. I am going to play the playlist regardless.
cool. custom maps better mean reduced power weapons and power ups though

You mean the Mk. V Alpha? Everyone hates that. The Mk IV is currently the best helmet in Halo 5. Most wanted something along the lines of Mk V from CE, CEA, 3 or 4, but we got a turd in Mk. V Alpha instead.

I personally don't think the Mk V ever transitioned well out of Halo 1's original visuals. In some renditions it looks like a big cylinder, in some it looks out of place for being too plain, in some the details just come across as having a sort of odd plastic bubbliness to them.
Actually, I think the Chief's armor in Halo 4 might be the series' best attempt at porting the jet fighter tank aesthetic of the OG Mk V to a higher-fidelity visual style.

I get what you're saying. I'm more responding generally too, because I read up on waypoint, reddit halo saying things like it's too much magnetism etc. It's not like it's pull the trigger get a guaranreed kill. You still need to aim it somewhat. It just mimics how much magnetism was in the H2 version, from the sights and sounds as well. But you're right, it is an easier weapon to use. I don't think it necessarily game breaking either since it's in one spawn point in one Arena map and everyone glosses over it. Something like storm rifle versus AR is OP. H2 BR Vs Halo 5 BR, even with the higher bullet magnetism, I don't think it's as clear cut OP. Maybe at my garbage tiers everyone seems to not want to use it?

Just like almost everyone else, I think the Mark 5 (Alpha) looks like crap in Halo 5. The Mark 4 Gen1 looks way more like the classic Chief Mk5, though they were always similar.
The armor I want more than any in this game is the Mk4 helmet with the Mk5a armor so that I can look like the original H1 spartan.

CEA's Mk V looks great, but I understand why they didn't bother a straight port of it again after having it in previous games. The Mk IV is basically the classic Mark V with some slight tweaks and a more sloping front.
While I think the Mk V Alpha helmet they came up with feels like a misstep akin to the Reach Mk V, I think the Mk V Alpha armor looks really nice. A good fusion of the S-IV sleeker style and the chunky OG armor.

I don't know. neither one of the Mark V versions in halo 3 and 4 looked anything like the original CE or CEA version to me. So I don't know why 343 would avoid putting one out there. It's not like there aren't fifty types of each new helmet in Halo 5 ranging from common to rare anyway.

If I have a group of 4 that I feel is capable, team arena. If not, slayer. Besides those two, MLG warzone, which is warzone assault lol
When I first started: WZ > everything
Now: WZA > Arena modes > WZ
WZ needs some heavy tweaking. Legendaries should be worth half value as they are right now. NPC enemies should attack territories and form new neutral zones.
