Depends on if they can tell the difference if you're changing the costume to a ripped DLC one or someone's original mod... or if they can tell the difference between costume modding and fight money tampering.

I'm wagering modding on the PC version will be relegated to offline pirated versions like Dead or Alive 5.

Wait! You have to manually set dummy settings every time you enter Training Mode? It doesn't save the settings? What the actual fuck!? KoF 13 had this problem and I fucking hated it.

You know what, I'll just wait till Tuesday to get my copy and not get desperate anymore.
I called a store and they said they'd have the game by either Monday or Tuesday
 
So do we have any PS4 pad warriors here? How do they feel about it in SFV?

I struggled in the beta and got blown up real bad. Not being able to buy a stick for the moment is what makes me question mostly if I should get the game right now or not...

I was doing pretty good with Karin with a pad. Was number 1 in the world with Balrog on USFIV on PS4 too with a pad for a few weeks, then kept consistent in the top 50. SFV is definitely easier, due to no 1f links. Much more managable on pad than SFIV.
 
I actually really enjoy playing on the pad. I have both a stick and a pad, and for some characters the pad feels better.
 
I think I will avoid accumulating FM offline until I know what day Alex is coming and for how much fight money. I don't want to show capcom that it's easy to gain FM and they raise the price even more.

Wish it had proper lobbies at launch. That's what will hurt them the most. Usf4 after so many years people only play ranked and endless now cause that's what counts.

Definitely easier to use a pad here than in IV. That being said, I'm probably going to look into a fightpad, unless someone figures out a way to connect a Saturn pad to PS4.

I particularly struggled with charge characters. I enjoy playing them on a stick so I went for Bison and oh boy did that not work out for me...

The other thing for me was fucking up execution between q. circle and dp motion.
 
Guys once the game is out and the servers go down for maintenance you will not lose your shit.

The game isnt even out yet, they are most likely reseting and testing the server stuff on purpose right now.

Think about what your saying before posting cmon

Wasnt Alex and i think all S1 characters announced to be 100,000FM each?

I can't believe I'm thinking of maining Ken or Ryu. I miss my Blanka, and can't gel with the other charge characters yet.

I'm not tech minded when it comes to video game development but I feel like not storing the currency players use to buy characters outside the game would be pretty stupid. Either way we are going to find out pretty quickly as people have already started modding characters using the leaked beta.

Holy shit. Why haven't I heard of these until now? I really loved those old SOTA Toys 6" Figures from 10 years ago. I hope these fit in well with them. They seem to be sculpted really well.

I just hope they aren't too expensive. I remember when Marvel Legends were just $8 and the SOTA toys were $15. Now everything is 2-3x that at the minimum.

Heh, I was in the US about 5 years ago and there was an fye on clearance sale. I got Ken and Chun for $1.5 each lol. I regret not getting more toys that day, they had Guile and Viper too :(

I don't know, there might be a way but I haven't found a place yet that saves it, not sure what the case is
 
Yeah if anyone has the game, I'd advise strictly sticking to training mode. Any progress you make is erased once the servers go down. Lost all of my unlocked colors again.

Necalli? My friend is also in mourning over Blanka. He's hoping Necalli will give him the jungle fever he craves.

He's a staple, but the more I realize he's gone (for now), the more I realize I'm glad I don't have to put up with his bullshit anymore. He was the only character my friend who I primarily play with used. I feel like I haven't had a real fight with him in almost a decade.

Anyway, they are resetting the server stats for launch date. Not that it goes down every time and wipes it on maintenance.

It's so everyone starts fresh Tuesday.

Well Storm Collectibles got the license back in October and are a Hong Kong company that used to focus on 1/6th figures but are now putting out 6" stuff with Mike Tyson, Bruce Lee and now MK and SF.

The third figure, or at least will be in the line, in the SFV line up will be Alex.
 
Fat chance I know but would anyone be willing to let me try this via shareplay? I just want to get a rough feel of it to see if I want to buy it. I'm in the UK with a wired, fibre connection looking for the same I guess to minimise delay. Whenever is convenient for you, I'm always about.

I hope that Capcom wouldn't change the value for DLC characters after see how some people already got 200-300k in few days.
 
Wait...stupid question as I've only used the function a couple of times for single player games but you can't use SharePlay for local VS mode right...? As in SharePlay SFV so the other player without the game can play as P2 in VS? That'd sound too good to be true.
 
Jebailey said on his stream that this weekend is going to be the last stress and company's frequently do this. Anyone complaining about it while having an early copy is a massive man-child.
