No other fighting game has had launch issues like this from what I can remember, and they're had 4 betas to fix this shit. I think it's totally justifiable for people to be annoyed.

server results not updating and issues with matchmaking is one thing, but lobbies not working is just too much

Called in sick to work...
Playing this game, seems stable online for me compared to last night.

Though the servers might be more stable due to people at work/school.

Since this is the first time I'm trying to actually get into a fighter, am I seriously restricting my potential by playing with a Xbox One controller? Tonight I'm going to borrow my sisters Arcade Stick and give it a shot but I've always felt (in my head anyway) that I had less delicate control by using my whole hand vs thumb on the stick.

As someone who prefers pads, I'd cry if I had to play with the XB1 d-pad.

The most famous early access game was Minecraft. It started at $10 and rose in price the closer it got to release.

H1Z1 is $20 right now, the final day before it becomes 2 $20 games.

So yes, there is precedent for games being released early at a lower price than what they charge.

Minecraft wasnt early access. The term early access didnt even exist back then. And I just posted that there are examples of games being cheaper. But its not many, most games are the same price. The problem, well..."problem" is that most EA games are of course, indie games, and they are cheaper by nature. Im not sure if we had a $60 early access game yet (I mean officially lol)

Try both and see

Personal preference.
I'm using a Fighting Commander by Hori.
I like non webbed dpads and 6 face buttons.

It's whatever preference you choose tbh. If you've never used stick before, it will be awkward.

I think xbox controllers are terrible for fighters.

anyone know any laura combos?

Laura isn't really a combo character, so just a few

cr.lp -> st.lk -> light elbow

st.mp -> st.mk

st.hp/cr.hp/st.mp -> fireball -> super

of course, she's more of a mix up character so it's more important what you do after these combos.

Her command grab can be used after light elbow, she can use ex fireball and st.mk after any of those three buttons to flip sides with her v-skill for a reset, etc.

Here's some stuff she can do on an opponents wakeup https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhkhR68Znn8

Edit: for max punish like on stun, heavy charged fireball -> forward hp -> hp -> qcf hp

I'm actually playing on an Xbox One controller right now for fun, after playing SF4 on stick for years. Everything is completely doable, really.

I think xbox controllers are terrible for fighters.
Why?

Finished all of the character stories, and they feel like the absolute minimum effort was put into them. Still, not a bad way to earn fight money. Pretty sure I lost some of my payments though due to servers messing up. I never got booted offline for any of them, but I remember not getting some fight money after a Cammy fight, and ended up with only 158,000 FM. I also did a Chun Li survival mode before that, so I might have lost FM from 2 matches rather than 1.

So I have street fighter on both Pc and ps4. Any word on a unified battle account? I haven't downloaded the ps4 version yet but I spent the morning playing on the Pc.

Because the dpad is fucking awful for fighters.

You have to be WAY to precise with your inputs.

Excellent pad for 2d platformers though.

The PC optimization for this game is laughable. The frame rate slowdowns are truly awful. I have an iMac with a r395m and it should be able to run this game at 1080p even at low setting but no, it forces me to lower it to a blurry mess before it finally allows me to play at a respectable frame rate. Inexcusable.

I don't know what the drag is. Some people with 980's on steam were having problems. I don't get how I went from the beta running perfectly to it running like dog shit.

I'm glad I have a brook adapter for my ps4 or I would be even more livid.

Good Chun or Great chun?

she lost :P

and makes Mika's partner come out anyway? I mean after you use v-trigger. I tried it in training and she took much longer to drop down compared to that gif

I've been playing for about an hour with a search running in the background for both casual and ranked and I haven't been able to find a match yet.

Is anyone limiting their search to only 5 bar connections?

I am. I get matches slowly but I've still gotten 4-5 in the past half hour.

I think this may be my favourite Street Fighter. Sure its limited but its damn good and I can hardly put it down. Its also the first game to make me feel like I'm playing on a next gen system.

From what I've gathered, Holding HP+HK will delay her entrance. She will also come out in different directions depending on the directional input (Neutral = from above).

Any one managed to SLI this game?

I have a couple of OCed 980Tis and I can't seem to able to sustain 60fps @4K max settings with only one card.

the directions I know but like I said, in training I just pressed v-trigger (didnt hold it) and she didnt drop down that fast
