I think you should try and match up the dark pink for the ball top.

Will have to stick to black joystick because I can't find any white Hayabusa's.

Anyone know where to find a Hayabusa Octogate in EU/UK?
I only can find it on focusattack.com but with postage it turns a £2 order into just over £15, which is enough to get hit with the USPS customs handling fee, so add another £12 or so plus VAT at £3.
£30 ($43) for a flipping gate. Sod that.
Might just rip the Sanwa JLF out of my PS3 TE stick and shove into my HRAP4K.
WHy is shipping out of US so expensive, I can ship from Japan to UK for like £3.
This means I won't be able to participate in EVO. Brook is banned afaik.
This is so ridiculous and compounded by MadCatz's delay and Qanba being quiet.
Got my Ryu TE2+ today. I had a hell of a time getting the wires disconnected from the buttons. Didn't have as much trouble with my Atrox when I replaced those.
I spray painted the red outer part of the stick (Goes outside the plexi. Cannot think of what to call it for some reason) black to match my new art that is arriving tomorrow.
I'll be sure to post pictures of the finished product.
There's a switch on the QDs that you press and they slide right off.

So I have a Qanba Q4 and a Hori rap4, I greatly prefer the Q4 is there any way to modify it using the parts from the rap4 to work natively on the ps4? Sick of using the stick for GG and the driver issues for sfV have finally made me look into it.
Switch main pcbs, which will require soldering. You have to know the wires for start, select, and home on rap4 main pcb and Q4 secondary pcb so you can connect them together. You will lose touch pad functions.
I actually just used a white shift cover for my Hayabusa, so it's now technically a white Hayabusa
What is a good stick under 200$ that is available to buy online? PS4/PC compatible.

Get the Venom Arcade Stick (Amazon.com) and mod the stick and buttons. Payed round about 150$ for it (converted from euro)
This one is mine today:
Used a LS-58 Seimitsu stick with octo gate, 6x Sanwa OBSF-30 buttons and 2x Seimitsu (dont know the exact type) buttons.
It is ps3/ps4/PC compatible.
Alright! Here it is! Pretty happy with how it turned out. Can't wait to start using it.

You can use a compass cutter like this one to cut an accurate circle for the button holes.
I had the guys at Tek Innovation's cut it for me. Same with the plexi. They do great work! That looks cool. When changing the art, did you have to cut the button layouts yourself or have someone do it?
Wanted to try out the Brook universal PCB and ended up changing out the art to this:

The art is from the SF4 brooklyn nyc launch event. FGC. Launch day. yeah. lol
Holy hell. Is that a Finkle?
FocusAttack mentioned like a week ago on their facebook page that they were working on a larger order of Hayabusa Octopus plates for arcadeworlduk.com. Doesn't look like they're available yet, but I assume they should be soon. That's probably your only real option because FocusAttack actually manufactures those Octogates themselves in house.
yessir. his work is amazing.
Am I in the realm of custom only?
When hooked to a PC, is it xinput, directinput or are you using a third party app?

I don't know, it just works. USB into the laptop, start usf4 and it works.
How come?

One more question. If I want to change my art, where do I find a template for TES+ to make sure that the layout is in place?
If you want the Sega panel...buy one, then build around that. Hell if I know where to get them or how much they are now, but I got a Blast City panel way back for $150-200 I think. Came with JLFs and OBSF-RG buttons and arcade wiring (which you could snip and strip at the end to do your own thing). Build a box or cut a hole in a table (I've seen that somewhere) and there you go!So right now I have a good collection of "OK" sticks but I want something to take their place.
1) MadCatz SFIV FightStick 360
2) HORI Fight Stick 3 PS3
3) MadCatz SFIV Tournament Edition Round 1 PS3
4) Tatsunoko vs Capcom FightStick Wii
5) Agetec Green Goblin DC
I want a 2p panel (that looks like the Astro City Cab panel) that works on PS3, PS4, and PC at this point. I don't do 360 at all anymore (RIP Ikaruga/Radiant Silvergun).
I basically do all my saturn/dc stuff via PC these days.
What is out there for 2p sticks? I've seen "Blaze" sticks that seem like they have a workable shell to make a 2p stick. I've seen the HSS-0130 Saturn sticks that basically ARE astro cabs (I want, but I can't canibalize a $400 stick).
There are the MadCatz V.s. sticks that can bolt together .. $400 for that package.
Am I in the realm of custom only? The HORI Rap4 VLX sticks seem so nice but $300 for 1 player. I want 2p!

Edit: looks like Jasens Customs makes reproductions for $100:

Pricey once you factor in the sticks and buttons but comparable enough.
Yeah...with varying degrees of difficulty depending on how nice you want to make it (Lindbergh panels would be easier to work with being square). Probably be easier to find (or build) a long box and drill holes than making an enclosure for a panel now that I think about it.Sticks & buttons don't concern me, its just that I dont have anything to drop the panel in to. I would still need some kind of enclosure right?
How's the fightstick alpha for an entry level stick?

Does anyone know if the new TES+ or TE2 SFV sticks with the touchpad have a headphone jack?
