I couldn't resist temptation and bought my first paid plays to snag Valentine's Ashley and Nikki.

I bought Swords cheap not knowing how garbage it was. CB I've also heard it meh... will pick it up if I ever see it cheap in a store.
*btw incase anyone is curious the 2 games you can't see covered up are BWii, and Boom Blox 1

I disagree. This is Nintendo at their absolute, most cynical worst: no discounts for multiple plays, no guaranteed wins, frequently shoddy physics, ridiculous machine setups, and "good" badges always hidden under a mountain of garbage badges to ensure that you'll have to pay to get them (unless you get really lucky with the red super play badge).

I had a hammer board do this to me. I don't remember which it was, exactly, but it was rigged so that I had to hit it away from the slot (which was on the left). The badge bounced off the right side, up out of sight, then off the left side and returned to where it was.
Stupid bullshit.

I can't believe that they chose the catcher with all the chocolate coins to be the daily catcher. I got 34 badges+ a 1 bonus , it was insane. Maybe they did it because the Valentine's Day badges are gone after today?

Nah, I only want the Rhythm Heaven badges and it was such a pain in the arse spending five minutes every day staring at the title screen while it took forever to load, knowing they probably weren't there anyway.

This is what I spent my 4 plays on. I got all but one of the cheerleaders.
First day and final day for the Rhythm Heaven CheerReader badges and all of them are unique...
...And I only got 2 free plays...

Ugh, they finally put up a practice catcher where it's possible to get really high scores, and the badges bridge on the first turn. I didn't even clear the board. 
Best strategy for today's NA practice machine seems to be to aim for Rosalina in the middle. Managed to clear it out in two tries, but then I got sloppy and it took another 3 to clear it out the second time :/ Ended up with 35 badges, but no blue or red free plays.

The tip is, don't fucking try to get the Mario Kart Princesses. I'm getting more fun out of this guy's misfortune than I am from playing myself. I seriously don't know how he hasn't killed himself after seeing some of the bullshit he's been through.

Edit: L+R trick actually gets rid of the arrow pretty quickly. Don't think I spent longer than 2 or 3 minutes doing it.

I had this too yesterday for the first time.
Can only assume the network is busy with all the Nintendo Account sign-ups.
I left it for a few minutes then just kept trying, it eventually connected and saved.
I don't recall there being a Badge Arcade theme released for the Japanese version when the badges were made available, so I'd guess not. However, there ought to be Fire Emblem themes to purchase on the Theme Shop very soon, so the badges can still have a fitting home.
In Due time Forkball, it has only been the first day of Fire Emblem Fates week.
Ironically the JPN Badge Arcade probably has more FE Fates panels today than in NA. INCLUDING THE SPRITES
How much do themes usually go for? I'll have a few bucks left after picking up the other Fire Emblem paths, so I was debating saving it for a theme or using it for more Fire Emblem badges.
Just about one or two dollars, give or take.
