And can you for the love of God SAVE MY TRAINING SETTINGS?!

I can live with no story mode,
no challenges,
breaking servers,
no vs cpu,
bullshit ways to get colors,
no arcade and whatever else,

BUT FOR FUCKS SAKE DO I REALLY HAVE TO CHANGE THE SETTINGS EVERY SINGLE TIME I GO INTO TRAINING MODE? REALLY? HOW HARD COULD THAT HAVE BEEN TO FIX? CMON

This game is fantastic, loads of fun and a huge step up from iv!

That said, this game sucks ass for people with spotty internet connections like myself. This is some bullshit. I've had 2 survival runs negated by dropped connections. Bad enough The game is severely lacking content at launch, but now I have to deal with this on top of it. I've been kicked out of training, Muthafucking TRAINING.

I hate to say this, but they should have taken some lessons from the guys at Driveclub and let me continue to play/earn points, even when the connection drops.

Question: what happened to all the stages having a cool thing like the China Street where you can get hit into a shop and wear a noodle hat? :C

Wait, they cut that?!

... Why would they cut that?! The noodle hat was what got my interest in the first place!

Couldn't sleep at all so I jumped on around 7 AM and it was pretty good. I got like 30 matches in and out of those I'd say about 10 of them didn't upload the points. Now I'm hearing that it's bad again so I dunno.

Yeah...I'm a big Street Fighter fan and the actual gameplay is great but to call this version 1.0 is a joke. I feel like it's Early Access.

That is how I feel. Doesn't feel like a full release. Like, It feels like they got the fighting and the systems and the 16 characters all working and at the right level to ship but everything around them feels like the game needs more time in the oven. Like, this game could give people salmonella.

F`ck, just finished catching up with the last 25 pages. Why am I doing this. This must almost be the same as going through Survival.

Yo it is hopeless right now, hahaha. The trick is to never log off or sleep, otherwise you'll have 25 pages waiting.

Mark as read! Ignorance is bliss! Drive-by shitpost instead! Lol

This is why I feel so torn about it. The gameplay is really fun, and I love the new characters. I want to play this game. Everything else is shit. I have to be online to play the game I paid $60 for? Did Capcom learn nothing from the disastrous Diablo III launch?

this is gonna be a rough year...

A rough year? Nah. The betas were fine after the initial rush of users on the first day. I expect the server troubles to go away after a couple days.

Doesn't excuse this shitty launch, and I'm still not happy about it, but saying SFV is fucked for a year is the definition of hyperbole.

You can still hit them onto the bus on the other side to win the fight, I managed to do that in a survival mode.

But yeah, I was trying to get the noodle hat and couldn't, didn't realise it has been taken out of the game.

How can everyone online be better than me already

Haha, I know the feeling.

Four ranked games and no wins for me last night. The last game I played I was about to win and got bloody disconnected.

I am playing as Zangief. I only fought Kens and Ryus, so I just need to know how to play that match up better and I should be ok.

What he probably meant was that it is disappointing that the stage interactions were seemingly canned during development except for the ones in the China stage.

Edit: Wait, I didn't even know they cut the noodle hat? :(

Diablo 3 went on to be super successful.

Perhaps they took the wrong lesson from it.

Things are already WAY better for me this morning. My matches have been smooth and I haven't been disconnected at all. I imagine things will be like clockwork in a week. There is a lot of doom and gloom right now. Capcom deserves that. However, this will be quickly forgotten.

SFV is getting blown up on Steam

I feel like the game would have been better served had it been released like Killer Instinct. Make it a pseudo F2P game where one character is free and can be rotated every month.

This is what I meant... So far I've only seen the bus... None of the other stages appear to have any extra interactivity aside from vegetables getting dislodged from the fruit stand and things like that...

Nothing on the level of interactivity like the noodle hat...or bus. :C

Yeah, I don't know what I'm doing. It's the first time I'm not skipping a single post, and I would have lost nothing if I had just skipped all of it. Actually I would have missed some useful links and tips but that's about it.

I should open up my copy of Street Fighter V now, aahhhhhhh.

Proer-Tip: Don't buy Capcom games until price drops if you want it to function properly out the gate.

MvC3 all over again. Wasted betas.

Ono should record a video of himself getting kicked right square in the nuts for this shit.

"I have never played a game with network features at launch before"

I've been mainly playing VS. with my friends, but now that I'm trying to dig into this myself, yeah the server stuff sucks. I don't even wanna fuck with online until it's fixed. And I've gotten through multiple survival runs, but I just got disconnected on one. Luckily it was on round 3, but it's got me scared now.

Finished all the story stuff though.

DING DING DING...We have a winner!

(And it would be nice if this was running on Microsoft's Azure servers too....just saying...)

And released a full version for those who want it.

I mean Capcom probably had a business plan laid out, but this poor start probably shook their business plan.

They really flubbed the launch, and people are really annoyed.

... My fight money just disappeared. It better be back the next time I boot the game up.

On a positive note, this game has made me love Zangief. I didn't like him in past game but he's just so lovable in the story mode scenes.

I feel like that would have meant a tremendous loss of revenue for Capcom... The situation the Street Fighter series is in is VERY different from KI.

It is too early for a post-mortem on the game, guys.

Everybody getting disconnected from Survival Mode near the last stage. Haha. It's never happened to me!

*Plays Normal Survival and displays excellent health and point managment*

Oh stage 30 with Bison! Time for you to get fuc-

Disconnected from Server

I guess after Splatoon and Battlefront were successful we'll be seeing more extremely sparse launches substantiated by free content drops. But uhh...I'm not sure its really cool to release a $60 lacking basic features that Street Fighter IV had?

Am I safe to play story mode and get Fight money or are the servers so fucked that you don't get Fight money
I was playing Survival and got kicked off because of the servers. For like five minutes all of my fight money was gone from the menu screen but popped back up soon after.

I lost all of my progress in the Survival mode I was running though.

I know you can't change your name, but does anyone know if you can delete or unlink the CFN account from your PSN account?

I don't think you can, there are people on PC who have issues with using a VPN & it showing them in a different location to where they actually live, then there are people people me who picked the wrong country flag.

I did delete all the game data on my PS4 & then re-installed the game but it showed up again with the wrong flag as it's tied to the PSN account, as I was having issues I just pressed away & didn't read the flag part, but the map shows me in the UK, but I don't know if that is what is used for your location & the flag is just to show people where you are.

With all the issues Capcom should re-set all this imo.
