Are you happy with your height?

I'm 180cm and I'm happy with that. :) I'm taller than both of my parents were so I didn't expect that when I was growing up.

No I'm a little over 5'8 and that apparently makes me a dwarf. Should have named my account Tyrion instead of Euron.

5'8 , usually OK with it, except those times I get told "sorry I only date guys 6 feet or taller". Like wtf does high matter in today's day and age unless I play pro basketball? I don't need to climb trees to get food, this isn't pre civilization when that maybe mattered.

That's a mean thing to say about 85.5% of the population.

This is pretty mean too, tho:

She deserved it. Growing up as a small guy and being treated like shit by women over something so stupid, this girl gets no sympathy from me.

I'm 5'11 so I'm good. I wouldn't mind being 6'2" but I don't think I'd miss out on any dates because of my height... Well... At least any dates I'd actually want to go on. Lisa Leslie would probably pass on me, but she's a taller than me so I wouldn't feel bad.

I am 164cm tall (and male), it would have been good to have some extra centimetres (around 20 lol), but it is just one out of many things that could have beeb "better". I do wish I cared less though.

Is it bad that I don't know my height? Pretty sure I'm between 6'1 and 6'2 but I haven't checked since I was... I don't know... ever, actually? I only know from comparing to other people.

Anyway, wouldn't change it. Only thing I like about my physical self. Any bigger would make public spaces and transport a nuisance. But in crowds I can still see over most people which is the best thing. Now just need to keep losing this weight...

6'4", and to be honest, no I'm not.

It's always been both a blessing and a curse. Sure, I can reach things from up high, see over people in a crowd, use my extra reach in hockey, etc. It has its perks.

But have you ever tried shopping for shoes with size 14 feet? Or having every shirt you put on, even in XL, come up an inch or two short in the arms and body? It gets old fast, I just want clothes that fit me normally.

You are more prone to back issues. And legroom on planes? Holy fuck. I think life would genuinely be a little easier if I were like 6'0" or 6'1".

Look at that stealth brag. "That's right ladies, size 14 shoes, you know what that means". Lol :D

I'm 5'3.

When I was in my 20s and teens I wasn't happy. Now that I'm in my early 30s I don't care. The only pain is finding clothing that fits. I have to get almost all of my shirts and pants tailored.

Yup. I'm female, under average, but only slightly so, 5'3". I think the only thing about my height is dating. No guys over 6'.

1,87m (is it 6'13 ??)

I hated it when i was a kid but now I realize all the benefits, like going to concerts and see the stage clearly, dating tall girls (although I look like an uncle when i date smaller girls*). It kinda sucks when I hit my head with the bars on the subway but that's about it.

*one time i dated a girl that was 4'9/1,47m and it was the worst. I placed my arm on her shoulder while walking and it was like resting it on a desk...

5'6" and absolutely not happy with it. Since there's nothing I can really do, though, I've just sorta accepted it and moved on with my life. Oh well! It makes dating a bit easier since a lot of women have a strict height requirement.

I'm 5'7 with size 13 feet. Whenever I go bowling and ask for shoes in my size, the people look at me like I'm lying.

I'm 6'2" so I'm a-ok with my height. Roommate is the same height, a bunch of other tall friends. One of my buds is 6'4" and another is 6'7" which has to be a pain in the ass as the world seems built for 5'5" to 6' crowd. My gf is 5'2" and I think she definitely gets annoyed by her height sometimes.

Size 14 here too, its annoying as hell when there are literally 4 pairs of shoes in an entire store in my size. Leg room on planes isn't too bad at 6'2", but movie theater leg room is definitely a pain.

Edit: Oops, dp

5'11 which is great, but I feel like a dwarf next to 6'2 people and up. They make me feel tiny.
Stand up straight? I'm with taller people all the time and I never feel tiny unless I'm with my buddy who is 6'8. Then I feel small. 6-6'5 is whatever.
All women say this shit. None hold to it.

She got owned in the best way.

I never really thought about it until I read some threads regarding height on GAF and I can't stop thinking about it since

I'm 5'11/180 which is totally fine, and I feel tall next to a lot of people, but now whenever I stand next to taller people I feel inferior. The fact I'm a bit shorter than my dad is giving me a complex. Why couldn't I be just a bit taller? 185-190 would've been killer

Let's take a moment and be thankful to OP for using both measurement systems and not just the American hieroglyphics (although I have a feeling he did it because he's not from the US himself either, but if I'm wrong I apologize in advance).

Anyways I'm 179cm tall (5'10"?). I do wish I was one cm taller to be an even 180. I also resent I never got to be as tall as my dad who's 185. Other than that its a perfectly good measurement, especially for a Mexican where I'm above average and women seldomly are as tall as me.

1.86, yes.

According to "dating online" sites, if you are above 1.70-1.75 most women will accept it.

I never knew height with women was such a deal until i started online dating.

I'm 6'3 and I like my height.

I wish my feet were a little bigger. I feel like they're on the small size for my height. I'm like a size 11, but would rather be a 12.

While dating in general is rough if you are short, online dating is brutal. I have a friend around 5'2" or 157.5cm. He's good-looking and all-around badass, but things come to a screeching halt when his height comes out. He doesn't lie, but he doesn't advertise it either. Most all women ask though.
