Anyone have tips for the Mika vs Ryu match-up? My son can't do dps on reaction or anything but my Mika is having a heck of a time getting in. Using f+mk and mp for pokes but just cannot do much.
Also since when did fierce normals cause recoverable damage?!

If you're the Cammy I'm thinking of, I only fought 2, you were actually really good at applying pressure.

It's just that I was able to "spike" across the map and go in whenever you attacked/moved forward. Block a bit more and you'd probably would've won.

That doesn't sound like me. You played Ryu and just destroyed me. I didn't do anything.
 
I hope the next thing they fix is the matchmaking. I've got over 2100 lp and I've mostly been matched up with people (well) under 1000. I've only played 2 people above 1000, so right now ranked is no fun. I can only bait wake up dp so many times before I start getting bored.
 
And am I the only guy who DOESN'T feel ripped off with the game? Like genuinely happy and satisfied with how the game is and how content is coming?

Well... Survival Mode needs work but you know what I mean.
 
I sent BB an email and got my Cammy code earlier today and now BB just sent me an email with another digital code, so I guess I got an extra code for free? Happen to anyone else?

A lot of times I didn't get notification about fms but just a notification to look the message board and it shows the fms I got.

I am pretty happy especially with the netcode.

I am. All they really need to is to make sure that servers aren't super wacky.

But yeah, Survival needs to be tuned up a bit.

No, but you need to understand that what is enough for you is not enough for most at $60. If we had everything promised on the roadmap already in the game I think people would still bitch about there not being enough compared to other $60 fighters, but at least then it would be on-par with Capcom's own games last gen.

The server issues are kinda annoying, and Survival is lol, but for the most part, I'm satisfied. As someone that enjoys learning SF on a serious level but enjoys the lore and whatnot, I even kinda dig the short ass character stories, since it's far more story than I'm used to in a SF game. (And I mean that in a good way)

That's to say nothing of the actual fighting, which feels god damned sublime here. Most comfortable I've felt playing a SF game since Alpha 2.

That being said, I definitely understand people feeling slighted about things.

I am very happy with the actual gameplay and now that the online seems to be actually working I'm happy with it too

Really I just wish 1)There was either arcade mode or VS CPU single matches and 2)Survival mode wasn't required for alt colors because I fucking hate it
 
I think it could have had better content on launch like an online training mode. And why is there no Rematch option in Ranked. But overall I'm happy with it.

Nah wish online work and survival mode is crap for colors .
Still have been playing with friends and it has been great .
So i am satisfied with it .

When the servers are working I don't regret a thing. That's the whole issue though.

I'm happy with the game and think it has a lot of potential but I don't blame people who might feel like they didn't get a full package. No challenge mode/character tips at launch is pretty bad to me in particular.

Not sure what to do with it. I would love to trade it for the bison code or Chun(if it's possible to trade for hers). If I give it away, I would like to do it in someway, maybe by guessing something, just because these things go for a decent amount, I assume some people would like to have a chance to get the code free.
 
Won my first fight online. Ryu mirror match. The guy was level 120, so I was worried as I just started and was level 12. He wouldn't stop jumping in so I just kept punishing it with Shoryuken.

Chun Li's isn't possible. There's no code for her costume.

I'm pretty damn content. It's not perfect by any means, but it'll get there. Servers certainly needs some work, but when it's good it's real good. Hopped into ranked for the first time tonight and the matches were consistent and the connections solid. I absolutely understand the issues people have with it though, so I can't blame anyone for being unhappy. Also, survival can go fuck itself.

Matchmaking refuses to work for me and I haven't played a single online match yet, even though I have like 3 hours of playtime


but yeah I'm still okay. been puttin in lab work a bit each day and doing some survival stuff


If the fucking online worked i'd be set lol
