Argh, either I fell out of the zone or people got better overnight. I've fallen 300 LP just in the last hour. Very discouraging.

Another problem I have with this game is that with how much capcom promoting esports the game don't even have an ingame tournament news lol. Like every time you log on LoL you can see exactly which tournament is coming up which ones are going on how can you watch their stream. Sfv has nothing built in like that wtf?

Play against my Nash and you'll feel he's the easiest character to beat in the game lol.

I'm not discouraged though. It's very interesting learning stuff, and I also appreciate the training with Reizu Ryuu, hopefully we can get the Steam chat going next time.

LK MK > LP MP > EX Tragedy Assault > d+VTrigger > jHK > EX Sonic Scythe

Eh wow, I should practice this combo.

The game is still in it's infancy. I mean hell, they haven't even added 8-man battle lounges or an in-game store yet.

Though they should most definitely have this added before EVO, as that will be the biggest tournament of the year, spectator-wise.

What can I use cammy's Vskill for? Can it evade projectiles?
It's kinda poop for evading projectiles since you need to do it way in advance as it doesn't go projectile invincible until you're spinning in the air and you have way better options to do that. I only use it occasionally for crossup knockdown mixups, I think it's probably the worst VSkill in the game.

I was getting tired of the lag, and everyone was saying wi-fi for these kind of games sucks (even if I never had problem with other games like smash online). So I decided to go out, buy a LAN cable and check out if the connection with others got better.

just testing with the ps4, my DL speed went from 20ish to 55. Huge difference. Hopefully it stops lagging now.

Can someone explain to me how people are already on so much Fight Money. I've played about 36 Ranked/Casual matches, of which I've won 29 and I'm currently on about 9,000 FM.

Haven't touched any of the other modes just yet as I haven't had time, but I will this weekend.

Apparently you can load your stick in as a legacy controller and then turn on your DS4 and use a mic plugged into it. Has anyone tried this? Really hoping this works well so I don't have to buy a USB headset just to talk over street fighter.

Great news about your DL speed, but it's because, and I'm paraphrasing what someone else said in this thread, is that Wi-Fi is half duplex meaning you can either send data or receive data at once which becomes a problem if there is more stuff to be sent than just the game stuff i.e downloads or videos or browsing. With LAN, you can do both at the same time.

Online matches are going to be the slowest way to earn FM since it is the only one that is endlessly repeatable. You get a lot more from the one-time FM purses from Story and Survival, as well as the character level-ups. Next month's update that brings new modes will likely also have similar FM opportunities, including the daily challenges.

Single player gives alot of fight money.

Given how audio files were found in-game mentioning Capcom Pro Tour tournaments, I'm guessing this'll be a matter of time. It's something League of Legends only gradually introduced as well, but I'm curious how Capcom will handle this.

The character select loading-match screen is so hype. That bass in the little jingle it plays is sick.

I do hope the can ledsen the loading times at some point though.

Still 5-10 minutes+ between ranked matches :(

For people finding matches quickly, what's your NAT type?

NAT 2. I am playing with wired.

NAT 1 and 2 are pretty much the same thing, only difference is NAT 2 means you're connected to a router.

NAT 3 is an issue if you're playing online though because it indicates limited connectivity.

I find it kind of annoying to have that stuff pop up but I couldn't care less about the LCS. Capcom Pro Tour stuff I would actually want to check out at times.

Story and survival

Music to my ears. Was planning to get stuck into single player stuff so this works out well. Thanks for the heads up!

No voice chat either.

probably better for it...tbh

this isn't a team based shooter where you need to be able to communicate with teammates to coordinate. most of the chat i had on xbox 360 in sf4 was salt.

ps4 players can use party chat and pc players third party options if they want to chat with friends.

Bleh, NAT 2 as well. Not wired fully but on 5GHz channel (router wireless -> extender wired -> PS4) and like... 2m away from original router.

Oh, my my!

I don't know what it is about him, but FANG has made me realize there is a bit of a trollish side to me.

I always pick the yellow color to make him look like a banana and I'll taunt if the opponent is poisoned and I have a life lead. Actively dodging their attacks with the command dash and then taunting is so much fun.

I may be driving people away from this game.

It would be nice in lobbies though. How much fun could be had with friends. Or how much easier it would be to teach players.

Good. Hearing someone in USF4 was a nightmare. It was either speaker audio, or someone shit talking.

There weren't a mute function?

His design has a really satisfying element to it. He's so tall and lanky, so naturally because he has large robes, he's going to shit poison on his foes while flying like a bird. Hysterical. Love him.
