Thanks a lot for this, I'm gonna bookmark them! I feel like I am having lots of trouble with anything that involves crouching.
Do you know if Ryu/Ken's DPs are invincible on startup? These guys give me hell, if their shoryukens arent invincible on wakeup then that b.HP could be pretty good to bait it, get a crush counter into legs and CA...
Thanks for the tip too

Fuck, my stick is not working. The buttons work but not the stick. Fuckkk
I just can't beat Bison with Mika. Anything I try to do after blocking his flip kick gets countered instantly. I can't do shit.
Something tells me it's going to be really laggy. I saw one bar. Lol but I've been lied to before.
the streak is over. against a rashid that spammed the wall jump missile kick thing, had no idea how to deal with it. im not bitching about the spamming, whatever works, I just had no idea how to deal with it, never seen a rashid before lol

I'm so old school that all the techniques you guys talk about i don't understand. I play by feel. INDESTRUCTIBLE
Yeah I completely gave up on Survival after the last attempt because it feels like the biggest, cheapest waste of time since Destiny's Nightfall Strikes. Absolutely sucks.ARE

Man I just have not been able to find my character this game =
I was a blanka player in sf4 and I miss defensive poking charge characters with a strong anti-air. Down back is my home.
So far I tried Laura for 3 or 4 hours and just wasn't feeling it. Her pokes didn't seem amazing and I wasn't really feeling the command grab mixup. I originally tried picking her up because I liked the v-skill movement options but it didn't end up feeling all that practical at my level and found myself just losing over and over to bad opponents.
I also tried out Necalli and I sort of like his moveset but I'm not really a full rush down kind of person. And I don't like how his moves feel sluggish on startup. Not saying he's slow but like the time it takes for his charge move to come out just bothers me every time.
Next I'm thinking of giving Chun a chance. I've got that pre-order costume at least...
Or maybe I just need Balrog to come out. Balrog save me.

Hah thanks for the games kandrick back to camp I go! Nice to play a mirror match. Man freezing up and not knowing what to do sucks lol
See, now I'm feeling like I can't do much. Lol
Even just having them all with 10 matches but increasinglyThe correct design decision for Survival would have been to have Easy be the 10 braindead opponents, normal start at match 11 and go to 30, and hard would start at 25 or 30 and go to 50. Haven't even tried Hell, but presumably applying the same logic would make it better.
If they didn't design it to be a complete drag on purpose to sell colors, then they are bafflingly incompetent.
And my second gripe, and probably my biggest, is that it feels like the game doesn't care with whom it pairs you with on ranked matches. From the 10 fights I've had today, half of those have been against 3500 something LP players, and I'm definitely not 3500 something LP material yet, so it feels unrewarding to lose against them. For reference, I'm usually at around 1000 LP.

Writing things down isn't nearly as handy as seeing where you are connecting and missing inputs.
Even just having them all with 10 matches but increasinglydifficult AI it would be so much better. It is literally just a waste of time fighting 25 braindead CPUs, sitting through match end after power-up selection after loading screen only to lose it all in 20 seconds.cheating

I think I'm getting worse at this game the more I play.
You can make inputs visible in the training options.
Game is godlike, but the online itself is frustrating me for a bunch of reasons.
First off, when asked for my region, I put in Peru (because that's where I am from, obviously). But I don't know if it's because of that or my router's IP but I'm only getting matches with people that are either from Peru, Brazil, Argentina or Chile. My internet speed is pretty good, so that shouldn't be happening. I feel like I've gotten locked out from getting matches with the rest of the world.

So yeah, great gameplay, but the online is all over the place. I definitely didn't have this experience in the betas. What makes me anxious is reading the tweet from SFVserver saying that "there aren't any more online issues" when it's clearly worse than the beta was. I only hope it gets better.
Necalli is actually an interesting character, been playing casuals with a friend and air kind of like his style. Don't know how to follow up Crush counter st.HK > st.HK > jab though.
Thanks for the games! Didn't know you played Karin too. I'm trying to pick her up having not played the Beta with her, it's been fun.
they should cap it so you can only take on a player that has no more than 2 times your lp total, or just restrict to leagues
